Some help with Gear?

Ok Its getting really annoying here, I am in limsa lominsa and I am level 10 gladiator
I want to get new gear but its supper confusing were Do I get it ? HOW to I get it ?
I am suck with that level 1 stuff and can't do any leverquest -_-

Please help me out ,

You get new gear a few ways: You make it yourself (crafting), buy it in the Market Wards, dropped by mobs, or awarded for completing levequests.

Try the New Players section.

levequests reset every 36 hours. In the text window type /clock and it will print out when the next leve reset is.

where Do I find recepies to craft them? I used the market and found 0 items for my level no ones sells them -_-

To buy new gear you will need to use the Market Wards. In Limsa you will find the ward entrance south of the aetheryte on the top floor. It is marked on the map as "Southern Islands".
Use the item search counter to find which wards/rows have the gear in that you are looking for and the price.

For a rank 10 Gladiator you will probably want the following gear or similar (although sadly lower rank gear doesn't tend to look pretty!):

Tarnished Hoplon (Rank 14)- Battlecraft Row
Dodoskin Jacket (Rank 15)- Armorfitters Row
Bronze Sallet (Rank 15)- Armorfitters Row
Dodoskin Jackboots (Rank 15)- Armorfitters Row
Sheepskin Armguards (Rank 15)- Armorfitters Row
Sheepskin Subligar (Rank 13)- Lower Tailors Row

All of the gear listed above favours your class (Gladiator).
I wouldn't equip any gear more than 5 ranks higher than your current rank, as you will not get the same benefit from it.

Oh, on a side note, Limsa and Gridania wards tend to be pretty quiet so you will probably be best off heading to Uld'ah where the wards are used more.

Probably, the major of sellers go in uldah, the unofficial hub for exping/selling.

I suggest you to take a trip in uldah too, at least for the aetherites.

It is also worthwhile noting that it is possible to buy a small range of low Ranked Weapons and such from NPCs within the Market Wards. For Gladiator Weapons head to the Battlecraft Ward - the NPC should be in the centre area with the benches and such. For armour, check out either the Lower Tailor Ward or Armourers Ward - they should have something of use to you there.

Note that they are decently priced for the lower Ranked stuff, but anything above the Rank 10 or so basics they start to become a bit of a rip off and it is definitely worthwhile buying the things from another player.

My first advice for you would be to look around the side quests at your rank. I know for sure you can get a lot of gear from those, especially for the lower ranks. If that proves fruitless though head to Uldah and use the market wards. If you can find the mats though, then you could try and commission a crafter to make the item for you, I have done this with practically all my gear so far.

@Daniel_Hiroshi I have no idea how to find quest or side quest it does not say anywere were the quest are, I can only see some Question marks on the map om limsa but again I am pretty sure fishing wont give me any gear, will it ?

The exclamation points that pop up on your map are the quests that you can begin, and some of these do offer decent gear for the lower levels. To make sure that you'll be receiving gear that you want just talk to the NPCs with the exclamation points, and before you accept the quest it will list the rewards upon completion in the text box that pops up. I know that DoL (like fishing) leves did offer some gear during beta, but I haven't done any in so long I can't remember if they offer gear or not... just be sure to read what the rewards are before accepting and you should be set! :)

As said above the marks show a side quest. Some side quests will give you gear, some give you monetary rewards. Just have a look around and see what people are offering. :) Good luck!
