As a Crafter, what should I look for in armor?

I'm doing Culinary what do I want for armor attributes exactly?

I wear doublets and coatees, they usually have the most of these stats. Knowing these base stats should help you pick the gear you need for any crafting class.

Actually one more thing, everything is explained in those links but what do "output" and "perception" do exactly, and do attribute point allocation matter, what should I be focusing on?

Output/Preception are only for DoLs (Botanist, Fisher, and Miner) so unless you're looking to take one of those up, just ignore that.

Stats wise MND and PIE it seems.

Alright thanks for the answers (and AlexiaKidd according to the link zavi put up, control lessens chance for sparks to occur so that's probably right what you're saying). Now just so I don't start another topic, I'm looking for how to make macros for changing gear, any topics on that that you guys know of?
