Moonfaire event?

Does anyone know of a walk through? Or how to get the yukatas? And the rest of the achievements unlocked?

It's basically a FATE event, usually found not far from the city gates with a level 5 cap. I heard there are higher level ones in others zones but they should yield the same drops. There's a large orange-red balloon marking the FATE area, and these events recur around every 10 mins. My character is in Ul'dah and the FATE location is in Central Thanalan just north east to the exit from The Steps of Thal. If I remember correctly you need to collect 90 wet bomb ash to buy all the bikini pieces. It only took me three FATEs to collect more than 90 wet ashes so its pretty easy. A final note: this is not a quest and you don't need to visit the NPC to begin. Just bring the wet ashes and swap them with the NPCs. Hope this helps ;)

I did mine in Limsa Lominsa near Costa del Sol, the FATE was level 32 and it was called The Return of the King (I believe). Each time you complete the FATE you will be rewarded with 30 ash. Like Jeuan said, you only need 90 ash if you want to get everything. 30 ash will net you a swimsuit set.

Also, only swimsuits are available for this events..no yukatas.

I got mine in Costa Del Sol too, But that was a week ago before the event started. Still works.

Ambien you got the yukata ? Or the ash? I got all the swim suits so far:) I was looking in our achievement logs and there were multiple ones for the event. So I was like hummmm

The FATE you're looking for is called The Return of the King. It ranges from low to high levels. It's always the same. You get 30 ashes for a success and 20 for a fail so all you have to do is 3 successful FATEs or 1-2 more if one/all fail. I got mine in central shroud x25 y29 and that one is lvl11. It always spawns in the same place.

I have only one achievement available for that event. And it's Cascadier Reborn.

Yea, Sorry. I got the Ash.

Anybody wish they'd stop with the bikinis? I remember a 1.0 summer event had bikinis - and I found a Lunar bikini set with my legacy retainer yesterday, which is basically Roegadyn hot pants.

I didn't need to know that my Roegadyn is strategically shaved.

Maybe I am missing something, but where are the turn in NPC's for this?

Ohh... rightt... there are the Ash thingies from Costa Del Sol are for.... =(
Did the FATE a million times but destroyed all ash because I found no use for it, must be said, didn;t Google far enough really.
Time to do it 3 more times then =)

Thanks! I was not able to login for over a week so I was worried I had missed out on the event. I easily found that fate close to Ul'Dah and got the necessary ashes. Good thing my alt is male and the bottom swimsuit was inexpensive, so I spent the rest of the ashes for the sprinklers ;).
