Free Company Recruitment Thread?

Is there a place where Free Companies can recruit new members, without having to spam the in-game chat? It would be nice if there was some kind of sticky-thread. I know you can look up the Free Companies on here, which is nice, but so little info is given.

I just started a FC on Siren, and recruiting members is hard, short of inviting random people or trying to spam the chat (which I'd rather not do).

How about we start it here? If you're on Sargatanas Legacy Server, looking to join a free company, Chaotic Calling is rank 4 as of today, and almost rank5. We hope to get more ppl to join, but with the gil sellers spamming shouts and yells, everyone's got their chat to a min. so advertising via these methods isn't working atm. Warriors of Light was founded on 9/4/2013 by several real life friends and family members. Since the company is small it is very well organized and we prefer to keep it that way. We believe quality far outweighs quantity. Since there are family and friends within this company you must exercise respect to other company members. Ignorance and disrespect will not be tolerated.

We are currently recruiting, please see the current needed classes above. We do have a 30 day trial period, afterwards you will become a full member. If you are looking to join a company that promotes respect among friends and family then look no further. If you have a friend or family member that also plays this game we encourage you to have them join us as well. Over the years we have determined that real life family and friends work well together in-game. We want to take advantage of these mechanics and implement this skill set into our company.

As you can see by our primary game time most of us have full-time jobs or are full-time students. So we do respect real life obligations.

Hey! We're planning to add an in-game search feature for free company member recruitment. For example, you'll be able to browse from the following:

• Grand company affiliation
• Free company rank
• Comments
• Probationary features

Besides the above in-game feature, we will be planning other community focused efforts on the forum to help promote free company recruitment! Look forward to this in the future!

Thank you Okipuit. It's like you answered a question in my mind before I created a thread. It's almost... scary.

That is great, I love the idea.

I've seen this in another MMO and it's a great idea. It had a lot of things as options for the guild leader to select to be shown automatically so it didn't have to be covered in comments. Such as:
1) Display the time zone and time when most members are online.
2) Display the basic roles with Open/Needed/Restricted
3) Display age restriction or none. (16-18)(18-30)(30+)(none)etc
4) Display Guild Type as checkbox (Casual)(PVE)(PVP)(raiding)(all the above) etc

I know these are all things that could be written in the comments, but this would cut down on what is needed in comments which is usually restricted to so many characters. Plus some people don't even take these into consideration until they see it in front of them.

I've been looking through the forums for my server and most guild advertisements don't include a preferred play time which is very important to me. I don't want to join a guild that does most of its raiding before or after I usually get online.

Nice idea! Would love to test it once it's implemented!
