List of The Dreamer's Dilemma Spriggans (updated constantly)

Once again, I'm making a handy dandy list, this time of the Spriggan drops.

I'm gonna run through all the areas and note the type, drops (on my kills), and location, and the loyal Spriggan's description (it gives hints as to where each runaway are).

For the drops, I'm only gonna include the prefix for all the eggs (the plain Archon egg will just be Archon). The uniquely typed eggs will be colored orange on this list. You can also see the unique egg the Spriggans are carrying.

First I'm going to do La Noscea then I'll do Thanalan and the Black Shroud. This list is based on my experiences and when I'm done I'll compile any additional info.

Also, it seems that the Spriggans can spawn in more than one location. If they're not at the coordinates I listed look in nearby caves. The only ones I've seen not in caves were the ones south of Horizon near the Silver Bazaar.

Yellow Gremlin updates the locations of the spriggans on a map also. Click the name of each one to see where they have them spotted.

I think it's safe to assume that these four types of Spriggans all drop the main 6 elemental eggs. So I'll omit those from the drops, instead I'll just note whenever they drop Astral or Umbral.

Most kills I got on one group was in Mistbeard, there were about 7 of them I killed. The other two groups I had few kills so I probably didn't see every drop..

I'm currently running around Bloodshore looking for them. I'm at a cave at 34,18 according to another post, but no sign of them yet.

Wait, can they pop at more than one location in each zone?

Im in the cave in skull valley and i have not seen a pop yet

I just noticed that there can be more than one location they can pop at. Either they cycle through whenever a group in a cave is defeated. Or it changes in a timely manner. I have yet to confirm either.

Ok... i will keep killing mobs in the cave i am at and update when something happens. Please do the same ;)

Darkened, Wind, Lightning, Fire, Earth, Ice, Water, Umbral all are also dropped by Sprinting Spriggans in the little caves in Copperbell Mines on the 2nd floor where the ants are. It is dangerous if you are not lvl 50 though because there are many ants down here that aggro, and each cave that has the Sprinting Spriggans in it also contains lvl 46-48 Buzzing Djiggas.

Ok. So just killed the Shuffling Spriggan twice in the cave near Skull Valley and got an Archon, lightning, earth, water, and astral eggs on the first kill and lightning, fire, ice, earth, and water eggs on the second shot. I camped him for 45min and he finally spawned 3 times in 1 min, after waiting 45 min. Was on 16 Archer for the kill.

Just killed the Spriggan in the cave near Bloodshore twice and it dropped the Colored Egg, and various other different eggs both times. There were also 3 of the same Spriggans up at that time, so they can spawn multiples within the same cave.

Just killed the Spriggan in Mistbeard Cove, however, i found it in the tunnel at 6,5 with the bombs in it. Much easier than going through Jackals.

The ones in tamtara are in (4, 5)

Just had a plain Archon Egg holder drop an Astral Egg. Looks like 2 drop the Astral and 2 drop the Umbral eggs.

Holy Dragoon and I are both working on the egg hats in The Black Shroud, we found another location for the Spriggans around Camp Tranquil.

Camp Tranquil: (35, 53) There is a cave, we found 4 Scrambling Spriggan down there.

Emerald Moss: (16, 21) found Spriggans here as well.

Tam-Tara: (5, 4) and (4, 5) Found Spriggans at both locations.

Humblehearth: (28, 32) Found Spriggans at this location as well.

If we find any other alternative locations while doing the rest I'll update and let you know.

I got all my caps tonight. This topic was a huge help with all the locations and YG links.

Thanks for this list.^^ Wasn't quite sure how to proceed on the quest after Wiggy told me about the 'bony cave'. Skull Valley was what I thought of but found a location in Cass for Iggy on zam and thought I had to go there. Looking forward to a hat tonight.

Yeah, they pop in about 3 different locations per group, I just didn't feel like cataloging every place. XD Good thing I linked to Yellow Gremlin!

Ziggy in Thanalan is now @ 23,26

I have a question regarding the quest.
I delivered all eggs and received all possible rewards. However, i can`t accept the quest, and the npcs still have an exclamation mark above their heads. According to http://xivpads.com the quest is called scrambled eggs.
Is that a bug? How do i accept it?

what do the NPCs tell you?

Maybe one of the other Spriggans, like Wiggy, has the Chocobo Egg Cap. However, where are the other eggs? Like all the elemental eggs. Also I had a problem with all those eggs in my inventory I started losing things like Dark Matter. Maybe they eliminated the other eggs because of the inventory problem.
