Gold spam getting out of hand

You can't talk to anyone in town. Chat is spam blocked by about 100 gold spammers. Really should have a better ignore feature - as in right clicking their name and doing it. Or at least reporting through that way instead of whats currently in the game.

Must admit though, its a bit obnoxious.

That is so true! This is really getting out of hand and SE needs to do something about it. Not just for chatting purposes but the economy purpose as well

Yeah new worlds I can see this being a huge problem, on legacy worlds though, players already ruined the economy so gil sellers here do nothing but annoy us in chat lol.

I've maybe gotten 4-5 whispers from gold spammers. Annoying yes, especially since they have the weirdest names I have to type in to blacklist. Haven't really seen shout filled with them on my server though but I'm rarely in a major city. Maybe they steer clear of the server named Faerie? hehe

report them , contact us, report cheater in the support desk
then blacklist the name
/blacklist add "<name>"

Agreed, I've reported about 6 RMTs in the past few days. It's irritating in the log window, but it really helps ruin the economy for legitimate players. I'm hoping SE is aggressively pursuing these jerks. Every time you see a new RMT, report them! If SE is getting constant reports, it'll help them realize the size of the problem and they might increase their response. Remember, you can't fix a problem you don't know about.

the point is, its needs to be easier than that. Its not hard to write a few lines of code to place in a right click menu to blacklist/report spammers. No one wants to sit and go through 50 different menus to black list someone, or report them. Especially when there are dozens if not more in every major city spamming shout chat

I agree, it got to the point where each new area I went to I'd be bringing up the blacklist menu and copy pasting a new name into to blacklist slot. A simple right click > blacklist/report option would make things smoother and at least less irritating.

No better on Leviathan. They're spamming one right after another, making it impossible to see what anyone says. Not only that, in Ul'Dah, I saw them taking over the /yell too.

It'd be really nice if I could just click on their name and have the option to add to black list. Why is this not possible? Their spam is often so long that I have to do quite a bit of scrolling to find their name.

Fix the economy. Gil sellers are THRIVING on the fact that it is currently impossible to make money in this game.

no, theyre just selling the money they got from questing to 50 in their chinese farmers only fate groups. I do think there should be better ways of getting money though, as a tank, I'm gonna need a lot of money to repair lol

The gold spammers in Ul'dah are really getting out of hand. SQ-E please give us a block feature that doesn't require stopping the game, reporting , and blacklisting. That makes the game not as much fun.

And honestly, anyone who buys 10000 gil for $2 is a right retard. Sorry to say, but it's true.
