player transfering from 11 needs little help :)

i just had few question i was wondering if someone could please help me with. i played version 1 for a little and i remember when i started we had some kind of mule or storage char i remember readign about. but i cant seem to remember much about it cause i didnt play as long as i would have liked cause the lag problems at the time. can someone please explain to me if i wrong and if this still on version2. do we have mog houses and elivery boe\xes? i am a little confused cause i know about the inns but havent seen box or moghouse yet. thanks for any help you can give me:cool:

There is a retainer like in v1 but the system has changed alot, much easier to use. There is no mog houses but there will be instanced player housing cities with the first patch, it will be 100 times better than mog houses. Deliver boxes are replaced with the delivery moogles in each city. Basically forget about what you remember from v1, this is a new much better game that you should try.

And for your retainer you need to do a story quest around level 20.

Yes, retainers don't become available normally for new characters til you

join the Scions of the Seventh Dawn as part of the storyline after completing the first three instanced dungeons from level 15-18

, however if you're playing a returning 1.0 character who had hired a retainer in 1.0, you'll be able to use that retainer right away (you have to speak to an npc in the market area of each city and recreate their appearance). Once a retainer is hired, you can summon them by finding a 'summoning bell' in various locations around each city.

As for a Mog House equivelant, there isn't a literal Mog House in the game yet, but there is Inn Rooms you can access in each of the Adventurer's Guilds in each city - but these aren't unlocked until you complete the level 10 story quest for that city (you're informed that the Inn has become available when you complete this quest). But actual player-owned housing won't be available for a while yet I'm afraid.

omg i keep getting stuck like with camera on my back, its not in 1st person, it still in 3rd but close as hell. on the other hand i found out how to pop out mouse courser if need it lol

If you're playing on PS3, try holding L1 and down on right stick to zoom out.

u got any idea how to move chatlog around? i move other stuff but the log is stuck almost center bottom and needs to go to left. thanks or ur time :)

editing this cause i figured it out. i just had to turn on mouse courser on ps3 by holding down l1 and pushing right joystick button then clicking with courser on general and dragging,

i got few more questions if u guys can help i would really be thankful. i confused on the job actions. i remember in version1 i was able to use cure from another job on gld. can i still use job actions from other jobs on gld now? also i didnt see anything about spells, are spell listed as jobactions in 14v2? and the last thing i was confused about was hot bar, in v1 you could use long bar with all the actions on it but now just like 4 direction pads setup like. is there way to change it? thanks for helping me and i hope you guys are enjoying game as much as me, thanks

You can still use other spells for different classes in Actions and Traits > Additional.

You need to have learned that spell, and there are a few classes that can't use everything, so make sure to check the Affinity in the skill description.

The hotbar I don't know, but you will get use to it, trust me.
