view played time?

Is there a command or somewhere we can view how long we have played a character/account?

similar to WoWs /played command

From what I can find around the internet, such a command doesn't exist in FFXIV. Which stinks, because I wanted to compare my roommate's playtime to my own. :p

The team is looking into implementing a text command that displays your total playtime. For other facts and figures we'll look into showing that off in other ways down the road...

Please make it super hard to use... Like, "/whatismytotalplaytimepleasetellme" - something we can't type or click accidentally. I got depressed every time I accidentally clicked it in XI. :(

It was simply /playtime in FFXI and it'd be nice if that worked again.

But more importantly, has SE already been counting our playtime since Phase 4 of the beta? If not then then it'd only really be useful to new people, one that doesn't show the correct information isn't really that useful at all.

You have to enable mouse movement and click on the clock - or use a mouse.

It tells you how to turn on the mouse in the Start menu (it's something like L1 and R3).

Just quickly tested this and it works like you said L1+R3 will bring up the cursor, you can move it with the left analog stick and L2 is left click and R2 is right click, press L1+R3 again to turn of the cursor.

L1 + R3 turns on mouse mode
While in mouse mode, right joystick moves mouse cursor and L2 and R2 act as left and right mouse buttons.
Click on the time in the server info area (top right unless you've moved it elsewhere)
The time alternates as you click it between local time (LT), server time (ST), and Eorzea time (ET).
L1 + R3 again to turn mouse mode off once it's set as you want.

For the mean time you can use Raptr. I've been using it from the start.

Also with the addition of FFXIV coming to Steam, if you get it through steam (properly; not 'not listed') that'll tell play time too.

are u a pc user? as far as i can tell "time play coulnt not be import due sony limitations" ; it seems that sony does not aloud to import the time. i have a littele achievement icon x/y and a clock that reads 0 .. :(
also for some reason my "days ago" are off, it says last time i play was 108 days ago... soooooo wrong lol.

Gonna bump this. Has there been any more info on if this feature is making its way in? I'm super curious to see how much time I've dumped into this wonderful game.

Ghost bump from over 2 years later. I don't think such a feature would be that hard to implement. perhaps the dev's just forgot about it. Either way, just wanted to slide right in and say "Hi, can I know how much life I have wasted and be proud of it?"
