I am always exploring and finding new things, found loads of stuff in Coerthas the other day but then it kind of gets depressing when you find all this cool stuff you can't access ; ;

As for the sign it has what looks like dice on it that is what made me think of Casino. After panning the camera around into some dodgy angles too I believe that behind the doors is a lift to the upper floors.

Its where you pay to gamble on arena fights!

Could be I guess. Makes me wonder just how much of the game we currently aren't seeing. In all the cities they have lots of area's we can't access because of locked doors and invisible walls. Out in the field as well there is lots of cool stuff you can see but can't interact with or hit invisible walls ; ;

I got a vid here of 2 things one is a hidden town/camp and the other is a shrine of some sorts. Both are between Drybone and Broken Water.

Pvp would be downstairs in Ul'dah in that area next to Glad. Guild. You can look down and see an arena with NPCs standing in it. Airship is likely to be upstairs in both Uldah and LL and probably some more Guilds.

Makes me wonder how much content SE is holding back from us.

I'm really interested in the underground tunnel/caverns south of Camp Drybone. Guarded by an NPC named Chamberlaine or w/e. It's weird looking on the outside.

I believe a lot, that is why I am not really worried about content in this game as I am confident they already have an absolute load that they pulled from launch. Tanaka said that they had over a years worth of content for people to do in interviews in early 2010, I don't know what happened but between then and release the game underwent some pretty big changes.

I think that once the battle system is in place we will start to see content get put in place at a rapid rate either that or they will continue to hold as much back as possible until PS3 release so they can hype up the launch/relaunch as much as possible.

Near Wrymkings Perch there is a NPC guarded tunnel and he tells you that he can not permit you to enter this holy place as you are an unbeliever.

Its a place where you bet on fights. If you do the pugilist plot you'll see.

Yeah have to watch out for high level mob agro though all mobs are around R70+ so can be pretty damn tough ^^ There are actually loads of things hidden in Coerthas lot's of tunnels and buildings, some airship landing pads all sorts. Just a shame we can't use or access any of them at the minute ; ;

That's a bit misleading, the Pugilist guild runs the casino as well as it's security force. The rank 30 quest has you investigate some counterfeit chips that surfaced as well as the first quest that sends you to collect outstanding debts as basically some "hired muscle" :D

If I remember correctly, the hidden town/camp is a refugee camp. If you walk to the NPCs, they mention that they're fleeing from somewhere. It's been a while, so I can't remember exactly where. Ala Migho, maybe?

Yeah there are stubs all over the place, of things that make you wonder. Its a shame its been 6 months and still looks like a lot of the game content is either scrapped, or TBA.
I honestly do have the feeling they are holding back on all old content plans, either to scrap them, or to hype up the ps3 release.

It is however possible they just left most of that stuff undone, and there will be no major content additions, i mean after all if you had that stuff ready, they could have added it long ago and kept people interested.


oh yeah i remember they said ul dah was going to have an arena players could actually participate in, and they said there was some mini game over there that was supposed to get played a lot.

I think alot of content was pulled due to the server instability, like during beta etc. I recall ppl complaining tons about how often they dc in beta and seen several betas get canceled due to issues. Pretty much they had trouble keeping the game from crashing.

They recently took out the retainer save feature because it was causing issues.

That's right. Camp's name is "Little Ala Mihgo" indeed, you can read it on the map.

I still think it will be a Casino of sorts eventually. I am sure I read that Ul'dah was known for it's gambling and casino's somewhere but god know where so who knows.

You have a rank 32 pgl and didn't know there is a casino in the town?

Yes it is shameful I haven't done a single PUG mission yet the only ones I haven't done, guess I better do them when servers go back up ^^
