He was just trying to signal any person nearby that you were dead! He was trying to be helpful! Couldn't raise you herself so was trying to catch the eye of an healer.

Lol, funny video. But I had this happen quite a few times. Where my chocobo is stuck in combat mode and you keep hearing the combat tune non-stop. Even after disengaging. Sometimes I fix it by changing stances or attacking a new mob. But other times he's just indefinately stuck in it and I have no choice than to put him down... And by down, I mean using the command withdraw XD

On another note.. Any recommendations on what skill tree to focus on for my Chocobo? I realize it's kind of a preference thing, but as I'm probably going to play all the jobs at some point.. I kinda just want him to be useful overall, especially with the absence of any way to reset his skilltrees. I'm thinking the attack tree is probably best? I have no idea how effective the healer tree is, and tanking doesn't sound terribly useful for a lot of jobs.. (Arcanist as my main, already has tank-pets.. most of the DPS classes seem able enough to survive on their own. Only CNJ and THM seem like they'd excel at having a tank choco, but maybe I'm wrong?)
