Same here, I have several friends who haven't been able to make characters on Hype since the game started. It's very frustrating and I wish we could get an answer about it.

Yeah. It never open. The only time it opens was during P4 and early EA.

same here. it's frustrating. you see many other servers open and close, but hyperion is perpetually locked, even at 2am...sad.

Been waiting to get onto this server since early access since my friends convinced me to give this game another chance. Went to behemoth as that was the only server at the time and now I am established there...but my friends are still over on hyperion.

They need to either unlock our server or let us transfer elsewhere. Just like everyone else I have a half dozen friends awaiting the unlock of character creation on our server.
