The mantle is traded in at Camp Revenant Toll for various items. Might be a time sink as I think you need 5 mantles for any one item.

It's not. We downed him yesterday on Behemoth and someone said that it had been killed in another server before us (Ultros I think), not sure if more servers did it too.

It's such a shame that they removed the cape from the model, in some screenshots and 3D viewer it had a cape just like Odin. :(

I was there!!! Such fun ^_^. I managed to heal a million(!) people and raise a few, never got to see Odin though! Only got Bronze even after depleting my MP several times XD

What's this about a Mantel? Do you get one from Bronze? or is this for Silver or Gold?

Odin has already been killed at least twice on most servers. He is dead shortly after he spawns, leaving the respawn timer being the real question.

Go to Mor Dhona, Revenant's Toll - town there'll vendor selling for Odin mantle/Behemoth item. You need x5 of odin mantle or Behemoth per for item.

I got silver medal with x1 odin mantle. I dont know what gold give, maybe extra mantle?

Link shows all the items that are obtained through the mantle currency. Remember that the armor takes up Chest/Gloves/Legs/Boots. Stats are kind of comparable to Pally AF, although somewhat more desirable.

So who is the first world to beat Odin? Just wondering.

Question, how does Odin mantis distribute? Only the first party that claim it? Everybody in that party get it? People who get gold reward from FATE get it? or Random ? (if so how many people get it?)

Look at the amount of people in your video. I think that no less than 40 people were there. Now if only one get the drop then it would be too pitiful.

I don't think a zerg'ed fate is competitive.
Maybe something that requires skill like Crystal Tower or Bahamut's Coil.

Gold gets 5 mantles and I think below that you don't get anything, at least that's what some people that got silver said.

1. Everyone who get gold receive 5 mantles? so it mean they instantly get to exchange the item with Rowena if they just get gold once?

2. How many people can get the gold reward?

3. Does healer and tank get fair treatment in FATE competition? or DPS get more benefit by inflicting most damage?

8 of my FC were there, we all got silver and got 1 mantle each. I was attacking him from start to finish on my MNK and ended with a LB during zantezukan. So must really need to dish out to achieve gold (or possibly my FC couldn't target him lol. But yeah just writing to confirm that we did get a mantle with silver.

Pretty much lol. Only coil of bahamut hasn't been fully conquered yet. But one group is very close to achieving this.

Although, this is always to be expected. I on the other hand still have plenty of things to do, maxing crafts, obtaining the best crafting gear, relic and so on.

So basically when you make a party of 8, then everybody in your party share the same reward level? I wonder if all of your contribute inside the party are combine together to make a higher score for everyone or that it divided by 8 to give you average contribution into score to FATE. (which mean if your party is weak, then solo net better gold chance)
