1017 Still

It looks like a lot of people are getting 3102, but I'm still stuck with 1017. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Yes, Masamune is also terrible like that.

I'm still getting 1017 on Cactuar.. at 7:30am which is hardly prime time. SE is really shooting themselves in the foot with this one.

Square-Enix, we want a proper explanation why 1017 is still persisting after your so-call maintainence to improve server capacity. Even if there are too many concurrent login, we should be placed in a queue and not forced to endlessly try to login and face 1017.

I certainly wasn't expecting 1017 at 8am PST... Because it hasn't happened all week. I was however able to create another character on Leviathan, which is good.

So they will keep adding login restrictions. This isn't helping if they are still allowing people to create toons on already populated servers. Really they shouldn't have resumed sales yet if a large number of people are still unable to play the game or even see the NA/EU Sersver List.

Though I just got in with my new guy on Leviathan now. We likely need to be patient for a day or so while they get it squared away. We'll see how it goes.

1017 is complete bulls***. I'm getting sick of the apologists trying to defend this stance. I don't care about the "record breaking concurrent users" that SE boasted about. Those "records" are Japan based, definitely not world based. Recent releases of games have absolutely CRUSHED the concurrent user/login numbers that SE is so proud of and uses to defend their login restrictions yet, for some reason, those developers with numbers almost doubling SE's didn't have to resort to saying, "F' you, try again later" and thrusting you back to the start screen. No, you were placed in a queue or, hell, even GW2 just put you on a server that wasn't your own server until a slot opened up on your own and you were transitioned over to your regular server. I don't care if I'm #3,000 in a queue to enter my server, fine, great, I can log in, get in queue, and go about my business. 1017 just baffles me. I cannot understand it or how they can even justify it.

Wait a day? People have waited 12 days already.

The enhancements are done. Doesn't mean the restrictions have been lifted yet. Patience people. I look forward to playing when I get home.

My problem is the queue only holds like 200 people. You might as well not even have one at that point. Also, want to say "I told you so" about adding new servers not alleviating the pains of the existing ones. Too many people are waiting in line for some duty finder fix to solve the issue.

The solutions has to be new servers with server transfers. That is the only viable long term solution. Otherwise I'm waiting until 3-4am every morning to log off and on again while I /afk 24/7 till this is fixed.

This is BS, 1017 still around, i already forked out 120day sub & i cannot log in when i have my free time.
I dont understand why they even let in new players on the Legacy servers in the first place if they already were full to begin with.

I sure the hell refuse to pay for server-transfer because someone messed up & ended up with this garbage "Full Server" error.
It really sucks i have to move away from my friends on the server but SE isnt giving me a choice are they?

The server is full every freakin time i try to log-in and i dont wanna sit 20min-several
hours trying to log in & pay full sub-fee for this crap.

Recommendation?....new servers, with option to transfer to with no extra fee, and limit
the worlds better & dont try to max out the population like it already is.

Interesting. I've had 0 issues since the maint, even when logging in during peak hours.

So many people here who completely failed to read the update that specifically mentioned that they would continue login restrictions as they brought the servers online. They said they would lift them as the servers appeared to handle the load in a stable way. For the love of god people start reading and comprehending the information they give us before you come to the forums to bitch about something with an obvious explanation already. It just makes you sound ignorant and entitled.

I think you should move to Masamune and enjoy the "fun" aswell.
If anything failed its the login crap some of us (not you obviously) getting sick of.
Um ya, this is not what im gonna pay for, if anything.... waste of time.
