Boss cast time is so short & the network latency is so high

Agreed. Latency in Titan fight was so bad, the group have to rely on guessing and anticipating what the next move will be.

I'd noticed that it seemed next to impossible to interrupt a cast. Glad others have too.

SE please increase the boss cast time ,
this is MMO, not console game

some players are having 300-400ms latency

Unfortunately if you increases the bosses cast time it trivialises some fight mechanics.

For example, PLD stun is on the GCD, so if he isn't careful about the timing of his attacks, he wont be able to stun that deadly move! The WAR has the advantage that his Stun is off GCD, so he has an easier time preventing that deadly move, but of course the job has its own drawbacks to balance this.

If you extend the cast times of boss spells, the WAR loses its advantage as any old pld can just wait until his GCD is ready and still perform the stun.

The Current spell cast times etc are perfect just the way they are, they provide a reward for people who time their attacks well without being to loose to make it so anyone can do it.

As a side note, the stun effect normally occurs at the end of the animation, so you cant just hit your shield bash button when the spell is at 90%, that simply wont work.

So increase the cooldown on the stun. Pretty simple.

I had 0 issues with the titan fight and I'm playing on a Japanese server come on guys.

Are you insinuating the solution to this "none-issue" is that all the boss cast timers are increased and the global cool down is increased from 2.5seconds to account for this?

Do you remember the complaints when the GCD was 3-3.5s? This is simply the most ridiculous thing I have read on these forums today, and trust me, that takes a lot.

Increasing the GCD wont help anything, just making it more annoying. All we can hope on atm is that SE find whatever is causing the lag/latency or whatever it issue it is. So those of us that are experiencing this problem can start to play normally and not get blamed for not reacting in time even though we did.

This so much! Was running Brayflox the other day and for the life of me I couldn't escape the last boss' breath attack even though I was completely out of the way and on the side of him..of course no one in the pt believed me..lol

Im in Australia playing on the NA servers with about 270~ ping. Died once to Titans Geosurge, wasnt aware i was not supposed to go to the edge. Other than that once, i never got hit by anything Titan threw down. In Brayflox, and other bosses who have wide attacks like that, i simply strafe back forth in front of him, not so much to move the boss (easier on large bosses, like the dragon) if no Breath, i scoot back the other way a bit, if there is a breath, i keep moving.

As for interrupts .. I feel like I've only ever gotten an interrupt off when i was paying close attention to the mob i wanted to interrupt, and made plans to do it. And i like that. When tanking, it gives me something to manage, do i have the Enmity lead to give up a combo to stop this spell or should i eat it and trust my healer?
