Error 1017 AGAIN

After the maintenance, I have been trying 20 mins, 1017 error AGAIN...
I can't feel the improvement

Yup, I got into the game early, then got the 90k error. Now I cannot get in at all. How did they not know much much the sevrers needed to be upgraded. Why is the queue system not able to throw everyone in at this point. There is no excuse. They said login restrictions should only be 5-10 minutes long

They key words here, people have been trying for a while, but this was to be expected I guess.
They should of put a few hours to days. xD!

5-10 minutes yes, but may occur frequently as they write.
They are gradually loosening the restrictions.

Amazing how people seem to forget how to read and use common sense....sad really....

You will always get 1017 error until you switch worlds. A full world is a full world. Expanding capacity in each world would make the game worthless due to overpopulation. In my server, Marlboro, what the world is capped at is perfect as there are just the right amount of people on. If you have too many, no one will be able to kill quest monsters, get a hit in fates, or click on npc's.

The only solution is to transfer to a new world, its just too bad they only added 3 or 4 I believe. Whoever manages the servers should, at least by now, know the amount of people who are trying to log in, hopefully getting data off sales and geographical locations to get exact numbers and not just trying to count as they actually attempt to log in.

The biggest mistake SE made from my point of view was as of Aug. 28, when the worlds began to reach there full character capacities, they should have perma banned all new character creation and drifted the surplus off to less populated worlds but they didn't do that for whatever reason. And now we are where we are now.

My guess is my world, Marlboro, has near 50% more characters than the world can actually support and it doesn't make much sense to me how they could let in that many extra people onto a world that should be closed to access at its cap. Its unfair to those on the world, and unfair to those who create a new character on the world thinking it isn't full until later in the day they get the 1017 and waste both parties time.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I just wanted to play period, the name of the world was low on my list of priorities but now I am stuck as I started on this world and watched the numbers soar to 10hr 1017's. And the crazy thing is, if I want to, I can create yet another new character on my world to congest it even further.

LOL after 10 hours maintance i crash 2 times and now 1017 and i cant login .. NICE maintance SE. Increase your servers!!

Curious, were you registered for Duty Finder when you got this error?

I would say it would be better to look how many players are registered and organize so many resources that all registered player can log-in. A full world is a full world? Yes that's true. But punish all players which maybe got into the game since Beta or "early access" and now they have to change servers? Would you just change the server? Would all contacts/friends/FC/LS members would change the server too?

I am really patient with SE, because we had a similar problem like this in our company. But server change would be no solution. I would say putting some "blades" into the servers would be.

yep, game crashed and now getting 1017 again... so much for that 7 free days if I CANT FUCKING PLAY THE GAME!

I am interested in this as well. All of my 90000 have been in a dungeon, minus one which was right outside the dungeon as I opened duty finder. Wondering if there is a connection...

Pretty sure it is connected. I dont think you can get 90000 error if you aren't registered for DF or accessing the DF server in some way.

Sure you can. Last night I had a few second glitch in my internet connection and got the 90k.
I know it was my internet connection as everything outside of the game also complained at the same time, and confirmed through checking router logs.

Could not agree with you more the removal of the new char restriction is mind blowing I can't fathom what in the world these people are thinking and why they said they are only creating one new world? why!? I feel like they are taking a page from the oil giants keeping supply they have back so the demand is higher except in there case its not effecting the money they are making so I don't get it maybe in a few weeks they will be a "gold" membership that allows you the privilege of actually having a damn queue for only idk 5.99$ extra a month lol xD

No wonder I can get in the game without much effort, the flamers are here.

i dont know this for sure but i say over the weeks and months they will work on the issues and maybe add more servers/ worlds to help and maybe add an auto kick to the game for afk people

They said in other posts that they can create more worlds.
For now they are opening three new worlds total though, and as they fill up, more worlds will be created.

Don't know about you guys but I logged in almost right away 20 minutes after the servers came back up. Got an instant queue, and then even had to log out, came back at like 4am pacific time and didn't even have to queue just loaded right in.

wow ... after like 3hrs ... i still cant log in ... GG SE ... time to implement AFK kickers

or time to stop the trial now so that people will just leave the game upon hearing the need to pay ...

just wanna follow up the case, I am still suffering 1017 error for 3 hrs+ from 7:00pm Japan time
please let me know which server you are in if you can log in smoothly, I am on Fenrir
