Indeed! Gave me goosebumps the first time I heard it. I also like the music that plays during one of the main boss fights prior to that too.

We need more music like this in a Final Fantasy game.

It's really breathtaking stuff. I find myself reciting the songs in my head during class. The OST really embarrasses every other AAA game out there right now.

I know it's cardinal sin to mention that other big MMO, but the other big mmo has an expansion out right now with a very poor soundtrack, in my opinion.

My vote is for the chocobo song. Brings me back to racing my golden chocobo in FF7.

but its (over)usage on fate bosses probably gave it a minus for some...

I was hoping the first link would be to that track! Easily the best out of them all, and I can't wait for the OST! :D

There is that one quest in the Ul'Dah story line where you defend a lady who was wrongfully accused of stealing. What was the battle music for that fight? It reminds me of FFVI for some reason.

There is also the Original Final Fantasy 1 victory music in this game as well.

Raincatcher Gully music is my favorite at them moment. It's very FFXII-esque

musics in FF games have always been something I was looking for.

AH! when I first stepped in Coerthas hearing that plus the freezing winter cold gave me so much chills!
And I love how the battle music sounds differently too, with the addition of an organ.

So far from where I have gone and what I have heard, all of ARR's music is magical!! I love Thalaos music in upper la noscea a lot and The Unholy Heir in Central Thanalan! Even the spooky wolves howling in Oakwood and the hushed voices in crowded towns. The music and sound effects are perfect. Sets the settings and feelings really well everywhere you go :)

I absolutely love the music played in the inn room and wish it was heard more often. Sad thing is, we're practically not allowed to do anything in the inn room, so I have yet to encounter any gameplay sessions where you can enjoy this particular piece playing for a long stretch. It would be perfect to craft to. Hopefully it will be playing inside player housing.

The one you linked is by far one of the best currently in the game. It's long, varied, and the sound is the best kind of mix between the common fantasy and sci-fi genres, as one might expect around Magitek.

Titan's music is as hard as rocks....... HARD ROCK!
It's one of my top faves along with Fallen Angel (Garuda)

I highly doubt it will happen but I would die happy if Distant Worlds played one of these themes at their Boston concert coming up! would be amazing :D

I love the music in this game soo much, I much prefer it over 1.0.
I want it on cd for my car :)
