Likely the server has crashed completely or are restarting ect, 2002 like most of the errors people have been getting is a connection issue

GDI, i got on lastnight after trying for 18hrs.. then got d/c and couldnt get back on... got que'd at 10 on my "full server" and then got rejected by 1017....next time i get on... ill never get off.. fk auto afk kicking..

unless of course they decided to start the upgrades a lot earlier and just "forgot" to tell use. Considering they wany their CS has been so far, it wouldn't surprise me. Oh yah, I'm getting the 2002 too. Sux cause this is usually when I can login with no issues. After the last 2 hours of work i just had, i was sure looking forward to some play time.

Whats funny is 2002, 9000, 1017, black page on launcher, "system" error when launching the launcher, and numerous other error codes since Phase 4 beta are ALL connection issues, almost always being caused by too many people accessing too few servers... I almost feel like collecting all the server connection issues into one thread so people can stop acting like a "new" issue has come up.. until they upgrade the servers these issues will not be fixed. period. optimizing the servers will only go so far (that's mostly software based and can only do so much when you haven't got the hardware in place). Until then just hope you can get in, or wait till there's more hardware in place (and it takes a lot of time to prepare and deploy network hardware including servers its not an easy task to just plug in a new one and add it to the list)
