I want know many christian linkshell on ffxiv?


i well aware this thread will problem troll on.

I've tried this myself. Most you're going to get is finding one that will try and keep it clean unless you want to make one yourself.

I think i will make one then

as long as they aren't all preachy then good luck finding one. I've heard of at least two

I'm not looking for one to be preached at, I have a preacher. I would like to have like minded people that do not use all of the cursing the other shells use. I have my filter on but only the F word gets bleeped from what I'm seeing.

Ps: Game doesn't need to justify everything our society desires, it's just a game :P You can still be w/e you want online, don't need added code to make it a reality in a Role-Playing-Game

If I could find a LS that was helpful and fun to talk to I wouldn't care if there were christians, muslims, athiests, or followers of Thal among its roster. I think it would be rather closed minded to choose a LS based solely on the religion of its members.

May I join a christian linkshell if, according to my passport, I am a registered catholic, still don't believe any
of that mumbo-jumbo, but realized I should just leave it that way because it comes with certain benefits?

Jus wanna point out that there is to some extent, im a female miquote, and i did a quest in i think it was southern thanalan to /furious at some guys peeking on 2 female miquote bathing in some water near the camp. And when i finished the quest she was all thankfull and said to me "i dont mind if someone like you came to peek, i bet you didnt think my tastes went that way".

You are looking for a mature minded Linkshell then, not a religious specific. Not many cuss in ours Just the bases of how people relate to each other. It is mostly how do you craft, how do you do this, let's do this together.

Oh god, a thousand times this. People who make these threads, no matter how good their intentions are, don't realize that they're part of the problem. So you're gay, religious, a mutant from the 5th dimension. As long as you're decent to play with, I don't really care.

Nothing wrong with an FC built around a real world identity, be it Christianity, LGBT, car enthusiasts, avid golfers, etc. Why do so many people care what others seek from their choice of entertainment?

As for restrooms... there's a variety of bushes and piss-stinking alleys to choose from should nature call during your travels. I am amazed though that for all the technological achievements, they have yet to develop a crude plumbing system at the minimum.

I'm in the process of creating an FC for the youth group at my church. We are church of Christ and will be on Hyperion unless they give us a free server transfer once the new ones open. PM me for info, as I'm sure a lot of trolling would happen other wise.

First of all let me make a few things perfectly clear.

True christian neither persecute or harm other people ea(follow the ways of Jesus). So I understand if you don't want to believe what they preach but don't group us into a group of hating bigots because you see it on the news or have experienced it.

Now I'm in a ls, with a few members who are gay, Christians and atheist as well. But our number one rule is to be respectable.

Several people on Balmung can refer to my character!!! I have helped many a needy player because I believe that kindness and selflessness is a truer path(learned that from the bible of all places.) I don't help people because I want them to be christian...that never even comes up. But I have spent hours crafting good for players for free on most occasions using my own mats. So don't tell me all Christians are hating bigots cause that is just incorrect. Those people are not Christians at all.:(

I think you may have better luck looking for a child-friendly or a Language-free FC. I've been looking for a FC myself, and I haven't really seen a christian specific FC/LS at all yet...

You could always start your own. Gives you bragging rights of being first and what have you.

Hehe, my LS/FC name (Abaddon) is from Hebrew mythology, but we are definitely not a clean bunch. That's as close as I'll get to a Christian linkshell. I don't want to be preached at.

There's a reason people avoid politics and religion in these sorts of settings. This thread was a mistake, regardless of your best intentions. I'm surprised it's still open.

I think its good for like-minded people to form linkshells, but I've known some pretty devout Christians use some incredibly colourful metaphors. You can't help but do a double take when a vicar mutters the bad "F" word. :eek:

By inviting trolls, you're indicating that you WANT to stir controversy.

Frankly, I don't want to see any <religion> or <political party> linkshells of any kind. Why can't we bring those barriers down when we're in a fantasy game and just enjoy it all together?

(Also, if your motiviation in joining a "christian" linkshell is lack of cursing, you're going to be in for a rude suprise- cursing is everywhere, even if it's not from a member of your linkshell or company, you will still see it all the time from others- It's a pointless effort.)\

Wake up mate, it's the 21st century. If you don't think it's a fantasy you're either not educating yourself or in complete denial.
