[Behest]: Crowd control & variety

during the recent weeks since the update, I have noticed 2 things with behests
1. They are either too crowded or completely dead.

Here what I suggest, I notice when a behest starts, they take 3 different paths. I think the crowded behests could be solve in a easy manner.

you have 3 seperate behests NPCs that go to 3 different routes

Behest A: Takes route 1
Behest B: Takes route 2
Behest C: Takes route 3

This way more people can participate in behest, and it also alleviates the mass crowding of players.

I also think, a DoL behest type would be good, because of the lack of field-craft leves available to players. You have players gather all types such as fish, ores, & logs. Just a thought on my part. Have field behests 1 hour a part, and how much players gather is on how many participate.

They need some sort of remedy for the current situation. I like the routes idea. It's already effecting players not able to participate in behests because of party's filling up so quickly. Maybe limit players to one behest an hour to give others a chance might work too. Alliance would also help I think.

dont forget you have other camps you can go to, you arent forced to be at the most populated camp

A DoL behest type activity would fit pretty well IMO. Some sort of "Hiking Trip" or something where you can gather as groups.

The problem is that people, most times, don't bother to actually go to those other camps (especially after 30).

I personally think that they should introduce a sort of randomized "Call to Arms" system (reminiscent of WoW's daily dungeon quest system), where small but meaningful perks are offered for participating in behests at certain nodes. For instance, say that the system designates that for the next 2 hrs, all r20 behest nodes in Thanalan, r30 nodes in Gridania, and r40 nodes in La Nosca receive an extra 50% more gil rewards in addition to a slight SP bonus in the form of extra mobs. (Just an example.)

That way the population is encouraged to not only play in the same general areas, but also encourages people to venture outside that usual hot spot to other nodes that may be usually vacant. In addition, this helps keep the population spread out more across the world, making it not seem so dead.

I can see the Field Behests being camped pretty hard by RMTs sadly :/

Well it just depends on how SE does it, depending if they take this suggestion or not.
It all be dedicated gather points, that would only provide Leve based item gather "HQ silver ore" and various stuff like that, with no regular items

That way the only reward for doing this would be the XP SP & gil, so I don't see how the RMT would profit.

Just my thoughts.

Stop making threads about behest there's like 10 of them already.

I've only seen three with the current issues though.
