Who's rerolling on the new servers?

If I don't encounter a problem, log in wise, I will be re-rolling on the new server as I probably could hit 50 before they even put up a server transfer.

A character means a lot less to me than time, and in reality I can play catch-up until the end of November when the new content hits anyways.

Need to bump this up. Maybe get a solid core group of players going.

I'm staying where i am now since in the long run it would not matter rerolling in a new server due to the servers will simply become overpopulated again since the server caps is 5000 players per server.

I am not doing that story mode over again...! Once is enough for my sanity. The story in the game is good. However all the useless filler inbetween makes me never want to redo it on a new character. Forget it.

A few friends and I are making a group on the new server. Looking for more. I posted in the Community > General Discussion portion just a moment ago.

I was thinking about it, though even though I'm a lower level than most, I still feel fairly invested in my character.

I hit 42.5 war the other night, 27 mining and a few other small things...still rerolling. Looking for friends and making a small FC as well.

Ive made 3 characters so far, everytime I can't log in to a server with a character on it I just make a new one, kind of getting tired of redoing the same content though, Lv.27 is the highest I have gotten out of all of them.

Not me, I finally got to 50 last night. SE owes us free transfers anyway for not doing their jobs after open beta ended and leaving us stuck on crowded servers that they then arbitrarily restricted access to cause they clearly have no idea what they are doing.

If the problem isn't gone by this week, I'm just done. It's not worth fighting with the game just to be able to play it, the game is fun but it's not THAT good to be worth all this effort.

Give me a free character transfer and I will go

A friend from XI and I will be on a new server, as well as my boyfriend. He can't play until we buy a PS3 though, so we gotta wait till then. But yeah, definitely rerolling on a new server so long as I like the name. :P

I'm also really interested in starting up a linkshell for general chat and a FC for raids and all that good stuff. Let me know if you're interested.

im not re-rolling and if there is no free transfer im not subscribing. im not taking an unreasonable position, the unreasonable position is to expect me to accept their apologies and be patient to play a game that was supposed to launch a week ago.

Ill be rerolling for sure, been waiting for a couple of days now. Ill even be cooking a small, fun and relaxed FC, will post about that later. Was waiting to see if new server sections were created but I guess General will have to do. :)

i will be re-rolling ONLY if i get a free transfer. (still) bogged through the tedious story once.. never again. story isnt that bad, but there are like 5 key good parts and 999 filler do crap crap quest parts... never again. i would rather, instead of the filler, just give players 5-10 levels and bypass the 'oh can u go across the world to kill/ say hello to someone for me.. srry no i dnt have a shellfone like you , but its REALLY important you go cross country for me :). for all the skipping i did, it would have accomplished the same.

I will most likely be re-rolling. I've only been able to play my character once since early access due to my work schedule, so I'm not super fully invested in it. Hopefully the new servers won't fill up as well. Do we know how many new servers they are going to add?

nope, i dont plan too. What is the point? Too much invested already plus the fact that i am on a legacy server i think has more advantages than on a new server.

No way I'm rerolling just like I didn't back when Legacy VS Normal servers debate went up. I invested a lot of time on my char and I'm not changing server however if they give free transfers I might just be tempted to.

I'm not because I'm in a free company that migrated to ARR from a previous game. As you can see from the responses, most current players will stay where they are because they're already invested there. I am grateful for those that will move to the newer servers though because I have my doubts that Wednesday's maintenance will fix the server congestion.

I don't feel like re-rolling.

That is exactly where my head is at, if I suck it up and reroll, I have higher chance of not dealing with log in issues, and if a few others do the same it works out... the only concern I have is whether or not enough people will move to create healthy sustainable populations on the new servers.

Husband and myself will be starting from scratch when new servers go live. The way we feel about it is that we intend to play this game for a long time. In the larger scheme of things its only a week lost. Early access/head start mater very little since we intend to play for a very long time. We are not in a race to finish all the content as soon as possible.
