First 1017 now no servers.

First was getting 1017 over and over. Now it won't show the NA/EU servers. Come on SE I thought we were past this crap. What gives!

When did you receive any indication that we were 'past this crap'?

I'm getting tired of trying to play a game where I spend 10 to 12 hours a day getting these messages, so I'm going to P-L-A-Y ; rift, defiance, borderlands 2 something that works until they get this fixed. I love this game, it's beautiful when it works.

We were past some of the huge issues and hopefully soon the server issue will be fixed so no more 1017

i was out of town and haven't logged on for four days. stupidly, i was expecting these issues to have improved over the weekend. now even my backup JP world is giving me 1017 with no queue. i have never been able to make a character for my preferred server (not during beta, early access or release).

*(@^%$#!!! /sigh so much for hope....

free world transfers is the least SE can do. 7 days' time extension? not sure that's enough, either. a sincere apology would also help some, but.... :P

Maybe if enough JP servers crap out with 1017 then SE will see that there is a problem with AFK.

I was getting a 1017 for about 30 minutes and if finally showed me a queue of 546.... then my client restarted and now the START button on my main title screen doesn't work. I restart the game a couple of times... no NA/EU servers. Anyone else have this problem?

I am and trust me its not fun. If you get the greyed out start or the no NA servers restart your client seems to fix that small issue.

nope we are all still wading in the crap and no one has a boat or paddle

the say there going to add more servers to fix the problem, but will that really work i mean can we log in to the servers we already have character data on, after that add them or are we going to have the wait till sep 9th to transfer our data to the new worlds just to log in, i mean there are so many trying to log in its vary possible that those will fill up to vary fast and what do we have then just more servers with strain and log in restrictions, i rely think that should increase the severs sizes too, or am i miss informed and they are doing that too.

Conventional wisdom says never play a new MMO at launch. Wait at least two weeks. Having said that, I am right here with you, at launch. :p

servers doesn't mean "worlds" ... kujata isn't on one sever, separate from the others. Its a network kind of thing to my understanding, so adding servers is more akin to adding lanes on a highway, it should give all of us more room to more around in, regardless of "worlds" - and I dont imagine they will be doing any immediate transfers, but more so restricting any new characters to a select few new "worlds" and let the others pan out.

Although they have in the past with XI taken applications for those types of transfers that way said new worlds don't ONLY have lv1 ppl in 'em. But I wouldn't count on it is all...

What is taking so long with problem on the NA/EU servers are you guys even working on it or just sitting there hoping it will fix itself, i'm getting really tried of this log in stuff.

It has been over 5 hours and still no word from SE about even addressing this issue. Man...amazing communication for the customers.

Hmm, getting all the same errors that you've described. So far, I've spent 30 minutes in game, + 2 and a half hours trying to connect... This is just sad.

Seriuosly!! I got put into a Queue reading 336 in queue. Then it gives me 1017. So fail SE! People are getting angry!

Finally got a queue. Now to hope I don't get that error. Or randomly disconnected, and have to try again for another 3 hours...
