Veteran Rewards and extended free playtime

I am in no way complaining about extra free days added to our accounts due to the server mess. I am, however, curious about the veteran rewards. I (and probably many others) plan on subscribing. As far as I know, we don't get our veteran rewards until we are first billed.

Are there any plans at all to expedite the release of our rewards? For those of you who aren't sure what rewards I'm talking about, check out this link.

You get pets, a mount, a race change voucher, etc.

I was wondering about this same thing. I will admit, I did huff & puff a bit when I saw that they were ( maybe ) going to give us more free days, because the first thing I thought of was NOOO VETERAN REWARDS /cry /fit over. That being said, I would like to know if we will have to wait or not. If yes, oh well, 7 more days wont be too bad......I guess.../sniffle :o:o:o

I'd like to take advantage of the race change, just so I can redo my character since I can't actually create a new character on my server.

Yep, it looks like they're going to make us wait another week or so with free extra days before we can get those rewards :(

It would be hilarious if, as in FFXIV 1.0, we end up with 1 free year... wait for your rewards ... xD

I want to subscribe but im waiting til i can get some sort of response about registering my CE to the wrong service account :( Waiting a week now almost for someone to respond to mine and my fiance's support tickets

Hopefully they have an official statement regarding Veteran Rewards, and perhaps allow those who set their account to automatic billing with a verified payment method to get their rewards on time.

I'm curious about this too, it would be nice if they let us pay before our free trail ends and just add the time to our accounts, is this even possible? Any official response would be nice though. :P

If you want them faster, buy time cards and register them to your account. I already have my veteran rewards as i did this today

Not from the official store AFAIK. There are sites that offer keys but I don´t know if they are entirely legal though, so I won´t link them.
Google it if you are interested. Also I read somewhere in this forum that US players can´t use time cards right now, but I don´t remember the reason.

The time cards work differently depending on your country. The US ones work by adding crysta to your account, which won't help you get veteran rewards any faster as you still have to use the crysta to pay for your subscription time, and it won't let you pay yet.

I guess those of us in North America will just have to wait, then.
