NA/EU Servers Down?

Server list says they are up but have been trying for 15 minutes and haven't been able to pull up the NA/EU Server list. Anyone else having this problem? I'd like to get past this and get to not being able to log in already.

Got the same issue, was fighting the 1017 boss for about an hour until about 15 minutes ago, now can't even get NA/EU servers to come up at all.

Same here. I wont load the US/EU worlds.

I got my NA/EU character to show up once and I tried to log in, but I got a 1017 and when I tried again, I also got the NA/EU Character Lists are not available message.

it's been at least 2 hours for me now, any one know as to when this will be fixed?

lol now I'm getting a grayed out start button followed by 2002 error.

Ok so it's not just me. Hadn't seen any announcements so wasn't sure what was up with it.

Reccurent shitty problem.. even the JP servers show the 1017 MvP

I think the list isn't updated. Maybe they are trying to kick afkers and bots by shutting servers down and then letting them back up. Not sure it would work, but we can hope, lol.

Between the 1017 the 2002 and the NA/EU servers not updating, I haven't played in three days now. Talk about bogus BS.

but all it takes to kick the AFKers is a restart not to shut down the whole western world servers

Can't even try to login now, completely locked out. Something more messed up then normal.

I have the 2002 error as well at times and the NA/EU servers not responding. If I can even get past those at moments,it tells me the worlds are full.
I haven't been able to play either.

You know, the simpler you make the login process, the less likely it is to fail. Who the heck came up with this crap

servers are not up im still gettin error 2002, now i can even hit the play button and it errors out on me.... >.<

now my toon dont even show up on the screen and tells me server is full!!!! i haven't even tried to get in the game yet.

They are not interested in kicking AFKers. They are only interested in adding more servers because that won't fix the problem...

I think they need to do both, concurrently; boot the AFK menace AND add a few new servers, only because the line to "get in the door" is so damn long.

i'm now queue to join a NA/EU server

I was battling this all day yesterday, finally got the list only to fight 1017, then got into the game at 2:30AM. Then I simply needed to sleep, so I logged out at 3:40AM.

As far as SE not kicking AFKers, they're trying to appeal to everyone and ensure everyone can play by increasing the capacity/data of the servers. That said, it's still not that great of a plan all things considered.

Ah 1017 and no na-eu servers, I thought you would be resolved for today - but I was mistaken. :(

I've been trying to log in for over 2 hours now... Have seen all possible errors passing by, got in a queue twice to be disconnected from the server twice as well...I even got the 'world full' error before even making a character selection...

I am just getting a grayed out start button, then error 2002.. I guess a lot of people are getting this?

Error 1017 before I even pick a character.

It just flat out tells me "Worlds are full gtfo" after I click the start button xD

I've gotten to the point I don't even see my character but still get the world is full without choosing a character

Amazing Square Enix, as time progresses you seem to be getting worse off than better. Most times in games you hit a rough patch and then the makers change things and you see it get better. Here you hit a rough patch, we 'hear' things will get better in the future and we see it progressively get worse. I went from being able to log in occasionally to rarely and now to not at all for the entire day...

Update: As stated by a few others, my account has leveled up it's 1017 code to insta-1017 where the moment I hit start it says "1017 Full, come back when we are not full and I don't know when... later though."

It almost feels like BETA all over again :(

I took a vacation day today to try to catch up to my irl friends. Big mistake lol (I was logged in but switched to full screen causing my game to crash....BAH!)

I've obviously got the same problem as everyone else, but what really REALLY p*sses me off is the lack of acknowledgment from SE. There's still the same tired message about the Japanese servers up there, but nothing about the NA/EU servers. So what...this is all our imaginations?

I am not even able to click start now. Earlier I would get a round of 1017 then the NA/EU no update or a 1017 as soon as I clicked start. Now the start button is perma-grey and I can't get anywhere.

OPEN THE GATES! I WANT PLAY! *0* well same issue here... already tried 4 hours and nothing yet x.x but i NEVER GIVE UP! OPEN THE GATES!(please be patient and not ragequit because i know you will back after 1 week hehehe)

Same here the "Start" button is grayed out for me; but when I restart the launcher it's clickable and then I either get good ol' error 1017 or error 5009 (Lost connection to server).
