4 HOURS of 1017...

FOUR HOURS. Is everyone on Behemoth server afk'ing or what? I might start afk'ing after tonight...

Im already leaving my toon in when i go to sleep becouse of their stupidity of not adding a afk kicker. I want to play the game not sit and spam fkn 000000000000000000000000000000000000 for god knows how long.

EVEN A QUEUE FOR 6 HOURS IS BETTER THEN THIS! :mad:

My wife spent 5+ hours of constant lolzorcakes before being able to log in. It is not a pissing contest oh how long it took; all that matters is that SE disregarded information provided by pre-order sales, etc.

I'm at 11 hours on Adamantoise, at this point I think my 0 button is going to break.

Good thing SE giving us keyboards along with a week of game time to compensate though, right? /sarcasm

2 hours stuck at 1017 on Gilgamesh, after a crash that happened during the second 8 man duty thing...this really sucks. :(

4 hours is my record. I feel like a wimp now because it was ONLY 4 hours.

This is getting ridiculous. I can only play on specific days and specific times and haven't been able to do so. Honestly, this is not beta. Why the hell release a game and nobody can play it. I'm not going to put any money on a service that is not reliable. I should be able to play a game when and where I want to.

About 12 hours on and off, mostly off since I know it's a fucked cause tonight.

With my g13 I just toggle num0 on repeat.

5 hrs in malboro, kicked out from queue TWICE

I have been trying to log on since 8 a.m. this morning. It has been 11 hours and I haven't been logged on. I got Queue 4 times and I got error 10102.

Sitting at roughly 9 hours. 11 hours if you count the two hours I got pissed off and decided to go mow the lawn while hoping the best. Spent most of the day watching movies and clicking my desired server, rinse and repeat.

Sadly, a friend of mine paid for Early Access and has only managed to log in once, that was during Early Access. He hasn't been able to play since. He's at the point now where he's so angry about this, he doesn't even want to subscribe anymore.

Here's the list of problems logging in that I sent him. Keep in mind, only number 1 is being dealt with and that won't fix the issue immediately, it could take a week or more before the population has a chance to balance out.

1. Servers are always full....capped at 3000 concurrent players.
2. Queue isn't working and doesn't seem to go past 150 players.
3. Gold farmers have already invaded the game and there's no way to report them.
4. Players are keeping their characters permanently AFK in the game because they know they might not get back in.

Hell, I can't even get a 1017 error... I've been trying off and on since last night... I can't get the NA/EU servers to load. Or it kicks me before I can even get to the character select screen.

8 times 1017'd from queue .. getting silly now.
Its like they just took things that SHOULD exist and is standard in ALL MMO's like afk kicker and queue system and just threw them out the window for god knows what stupid reason they had.
What compelled them to ignore a working queue system and such a simple thing as a afk kicker? It just makes no sense at all. They are acting like first time MMO devs.

I never did get in to Early Access, myself and have also only been able to log in and play a grand total of once. I really enjoyed myself in Beta, but... yeah. I'm seriously just thinking of not picking up the subscription once the 30 days are out... especially with the chance I may not even get to PLAY in the first 30 days, at this rate. This is just a poorly, poorly handled launch. Especially when you consider they just posted an update today saying the problems logging in on the NA/EU servers is solved... and clearly, it isn't. I'm not convinced they really want to keep most of us as customers, at this point.

Haven't been able to log in since Friday evening on Siren. Almost 48 hours since I've been able to play. I've tried multiple servers as well. Nothing works.

I have faith they will fix at least enough issues with logging in to allow most of,us to,log in after the update on Tuesday night, although I remain very pissed on paying money and not being ale to pla more than once since the freakin closed beta.

Its really unfair people are logging in and staying log in and because no AFK boot...never logging out their character,r so it makes it impossible for the rest of us to log in. I mean is it really that important to get your character to level 5000 that you have to deprive other people from playing

I'm at 6 and a half on Midgarsormr... Got into the actual queue thing once, then got error 10102.

I'm going to be called an asshole for this but once I get in game I'm not logging out unless servers go down. I have the next 3 days off and I'll be damned if I spend this long trying to log in again.

I've left the game going with a controller on auto-fire for about 2-3 hours and no luck while other people say they get in within an hour.

Though I'm beginning to suspect geographic location/ping has a lot to do with it. I live in AZ while the NA servers are purportedly in Montreal, Canada so I have higher ping than most. When it comes to beating people to the punch and getting an open spot in the server, even those 50-100ms translate to a massive disadvantage and I might as well not even try.

Have tried logging on for 7 hours straight right now minus bathroom breaks and eating one meal. I was determined to get on. I was told not to bother by several people in my guild. Why? Because people don't log out and stay on and inactive for days at a time.

So how can people get in when the worlds are all full and no one is logging off? Obviously a few people are logging of but your chance is probably one in a few thousand of getting on at that moment when they are logging off.

Too bad SE can't address this basic issue now. Very frustrating and unfair. I will reserve judgment to see how SE reimburses us for these issues.

Honestly if you want to play keep trying until you can log in and then go ask when you are done so you can play at your leisure until the update on Tuesday night, if that isn't your path, well, good luck with constantly dealing with not being able to log in

I'm at zero hours and zero minutes, I went out the majority of the weekend and had a lot of fun. Ya'll should try it :]

Been trying on and off all day to get on. I dont understand how you can make a FF game and low ball the servers. That's just riggodamndiculous. "HEY GUYS FINAL FANTASY ONLINE... only a couple thousand people might be interested... fuck it, turn on that circa 1998 Gateway to host, and lets release this bitch."

Honestly I try for maybe 10 minutes and then just give up...I seriously have better things to do. Watching paint dry is probably more productive at this point.

Frustrated... just want to register my dissatisfaction with whoever it was that underestimated user interest, allocated the same number of servers for Japan as for the entire rest of the world, limited queue system, and decided not to implement an AFK kick.

The thing is that if NO ONE afk'd, only logged in to play and LOGGED OUT when they were done, if EVERYONE did that, I can guarantee you that at this point, 1017's would be extremely rare. But they're NOT. What's making it worse is that because of the initial, selfish jerk afk'rs, more and more people are doing it, too. No one ever logging out is the issue. But, afk'rs don't care. So long as THEY get to play when they're good and ready to play a week or two later, that's all that matters. I've seen someone in the same exact spot for 2 days in a row. TWO DAYS IN A ROW. That's like standing at the front of a fast food restaurant line during lunchtime telling people to wait because he'll order a water in about two days.

Seriously, I know it won't happen, but I hope the afkr's characters who didn't log out before maintenance started get deleted.
