Haven't been able to get in all day.

Haven't been able to load the NA/EU servers reliably for like 9 hours. Just getting to the part where I can pick my character and fail to log in is a success.

I hate 1017 - if I ever meet you I'm ripping your ones right off!!!!

Only been able to log into the Ixion (JP) server today. An' I don't feel like playing my lame throw-away character I wanna play my reeeeaaal onnnnneee! ;-;

All freaking day today. All freaking day yesterday. Anytime I actually DO get in I have long enough to type a sentence in fc then 90k my way to 1017 for 8+ hours.

ive been trying to log in since 9am its 9pm now yep.

Everyday since Early Access. It's pretty much routine now, but I'm going to keep trying!

If the game didn't crash for me after I hit ALT TAB. I would have been enjoying the game for the last 5 hours. Oh yea, I crashed right as we were about to clear the boss of part 2 of the last story mission.

Still trying to log in as we speak, been about an hour of 1017 for me.

ive been logged in since yesterday? or was it the day before? Wait....im always logged in.

I'm at the point, if i get in, i'm not logging out. Login restrictions seem silly when when your G***AMN player base is't even logging out.

*Raises both hands* I actually got in earlier, but then got a 90000 error when my Duty Finder queued up, and I haven't been able to get back on since. 9 hours and counting.

I'll half raise my hand. I'm not endlessly trying to log in. I know the servers are under stress and hopefully the Wednesday upgrade with solve a great number of issues. If I get in I get in, if I 1017, I'll wait a few mins and try again, if I get the 2002, I go do something else for an hour or so and try again later. FFXIV is a great game that I payed for, but it's a "new" mmo. I'm probably one of the most pacient person you'll ever meet, so I'll stick it out and see if SE works out the server issues.

Well, I wouldn't call it mindlessly because I'm doing other things besides, but yup...can't get in either.

That's the best thing I've seen in a while! Ahahahahahahha!

Logging in mid morning sunday took all of 2 minutes. Saturday early afternoon was maybe 5 minutes. Friday during prime time was the a pita though at 20 minutes or so. Looks like i've been a bit luckier than most. Making up for being locked out of early access with that already logged in error.

So no not raising my hand here. But i will if it gets worse for me.

the progression in this game is too fast, and the fights so far are all easy, even with a bad setup you can do everything. Maybe it's their way of preventing faster progression so the content lasts longer :D
Im pretty sure they are behind their 2.1 schedule by now anyways while having one meeting after the other thinking about wether to put in the afk-kick or not... while especially the new players, they wanted to have lots of, start to get more and more pissed off, finally leaving the game for good. they lack direction and they obviously have no clue that with their "we do nothing but look into this" attitude they make more and more logged in players stay logged in and go afk, resulting in 100% full servers 24/7. Good job!

I really don't know if i should laugh or cry about how unprepared this launch seems to me, considering that this is the 2nd try, it is even worse in my eyes.

Yup, right here, Labor day, no work, no school... no FFXIV

worst login issues I've experienced, can barely make it to the start button, and the start button barely works.

I've been trying to log in since 8:40AM. It is now 10:57AM. I have been doing this non-stop. I'm not even kidding. I'm also a little bit pissed.

I gave up a while ago. I might as well wait until tomorrow morning when people log off (if they don't just sit idle) or wait until after the new servers are implemented.

This wouldn't be a problem if people would log out instead of going afk around aethernet crystals. From reading the newer posts seems like people are just leaving their computers, going to do different activities(eating, going to get coffee, hanging with friends etc) without logging out and giving other people a chance to get on.
