Please help CAN'T JOIN GRAND COMPANY!

Please help me. I am a level 30 conjurer and am still getting the message. " to join a grand company you need to progress further in the main scenario." What an i doing wrong? Is there a specific quest I am missing? The all of the low level quests are done in my area. Please please help me!

Did you get your airship pass? Did you visit the other cities to tell them about the remembrance celebration? Did you visit these celebrations?

There is a quest in the Waking Sands right after you defeat Ifrit that starts up the chain of quests for joining a grand company

Yes I have gone to the ceremonies and gone black to It must be pirates quest. Every time I finish another appears from the same person that just finished. Oing on that line... Now doing level 17 "into a copper hell". Am I on the right track?

I just unlocked "Retainers" am I on the right track?

It's lvl 22 or 23 main scenario quest

Where does the quest start?

I unlocked it at level 20, myself. But I had been always doing the main quest while leveling. Once you get the quest I believe is titled "The infernal Lord or something like that. But its all part of your main quest.

After those lvl 15,16,17 ( Gridania, La Noscea, Ul'dah) quests you will get mission from Millflia in Ul'dah with Tancred, finishing it means get to fight with Ifrit-> after this you celebrations (im at this point so ill pay attention whats after it). In meantime go and check your class quest as well, maybe smth have to do with this mess :)

Yeah knowing to kill the nail once it appears in order to kill Infrit and survive is key.

I'm having the same trouble. Cannot get any Grand Company to talk to me and I have ALL of the main and class quests done up through level 23. I'm baffled. I wish there was a better internet game guide. None of the websites seem to have much in the way of serious information. All just fluff.

Yes, you're on the right track. You've still got a few quests to go, but you should be able to grind them through fairly quickly. The one big task you have remaining will be your fight with Ifrit. You'll get the quest that inducts you into a Grand Company immediately thereafter.

You can't possibly have done all the main storyline quests through 23. Joining a Grand Company is *part* of the main storyline at level 20; you can't get to the level 23 quests without doing it.
