luckily i made a character on JP servers when the game first launched. Guess I'll be playing as Jaxis Aionheart... on Ifrit! Yay for JP servers that RARELY ever go down and get THREE TIMES the dedication that NA/EU servers get!!! ;)

Yeah same here. I've got 6 friends playing. 3 of us are stuck on Ramuh(JP) and the others are stuck on randoms that they could create on. At least SE will make money off of Paid Transfers if people can swallow paying upfront for them.

When they finally decide to get this mess taken care of, I think they should offer free world transfers for a month. They can take the hit to the wallet like we took the hit to our limited playtime (some of us DO have full time jobs and families).

Good luck with that. I've been getting the error about not being able to load the JP server list just as often as the NA/EU list. I have a feeling there are a lot of NA/EU players on the JP servers that aren't taking their character seriously because it's just a temporary place for them to play until the NA/EU server issues are resolved. It's not necessarily true that the JP players get better service, you have to keep in mind the time difference. During the week there is very little overlap of JP and NA play time, so when our servers are slammed, theirs are relatively empty. But on the weekends there is much more overlap and all the servers get slammed.

My advice: about 2 minutes before the top of the hour start trying to get in, and repeat every 30 minutes. I played all day yesterday and we noticed people were able to log in in waves, and it seemed like it was always on the hour and half hour, almost like the servers were only allowing people to log in for 5 minutes, then went back to giving the "World is full" error, regardless of the state of the server.

It's alternating JP and NA/EU lists. Seems like a major design failure on the network architecture....

I think the server my cousin and his wife play on is locked for new characters or I would *seriously* consider deleting all my old characters and hop on there... I mean, why should we have to put up with this lazy excuse for a launch when the JP community gets the sort of service and quality we should have been getting since... ff11 first launched. If this was any other sort of business, they would be losing money by the boatload and their reputation would be flushed down the toilet; but for some reason, it's perfectly fine for gaming companies to hamfist stuff like this. Mistakes happen, incompetence is unavoidable sometimes, and people make stupid decisions, but there should be more accountability or consequence than "i'm sorry.", and that's the end of it... I suppose loosing subscribers and financially tanking because of their poor decisions is good enough though (not that I am wishing for that).

I agree with Kerelidd. I see the same thing 3-5 people log in at the same time in my free company channel. The only thing is yesterday the NA server were all down as far as I could tell for aprox 18 hours.

I don't think it's as much that, as it is that NA/EU servers are immensely more populated at the moment. If all americans started to flood towards japan servers, they will probably start endlessly crashing too.

The servers were up after the brief maintenance in the morning. I stayed logged in for over 14 hours yesterday and there were a LOT of people on all day. The servers are overwhelmed, of course, but if you get lucky with your timing then you can get in.

First of all Eshura, you are assuming JP Servers are getting special treatment. Just cause when we see ours is not available and theirs is not don't mean they can't happen at different times. Life for example our peak times are almost 12 hours apart. They stuff breaks when most of us sleep. What you should be bitching about is the fact that it takes a week to initialize new servers and the terrible communication on Lodestone. Secondly The volume that we see now will only increase in subscriptions in the next 60-90 days. People like us who take the time to express our anger only shows the level of excitement for one truly amazing game. Yes SE didn't realize they had so many dedicated fans that would flood into this game. On the other hand we were getting worlds full messages during early release. They should of taken action then and not a day after their release.

Flood the JP servers so they actually try to fix this crap. All NA players move to JP and create there, fill their servers and hammer their logins.

lolz jp servers are just as full as na/eu servers u might as well sit tight and wait for them to add the servers hopefully this week

Maybe SE DOES pay attention to these forums and they just locked us out of JP servers so we couldn't carry out our plans for JP server domination

Interesting note, NO JP server is taking new characters at this time......

No, NO they aren't. I logged in first try on a JP server, meanwhile ive been trying to log in 2 days on my NA server

If everyone who can't get in packs the JP servers and causes the same issues NA?EU have you know they will have them fixed in a heartbeat. JP for me!

I'm having a great experience playing on Typhon. Lot of NA refugees there. If you'd like, my LS "Ocean Jumpers" is a good way to meet others in much the same spot, and is open to all NA English players.
