Relic instance in Duty Finder please

To the devteam, can you please make the battle instances for the relic quest a part of the Duty Finder? I thought the whole point of it was for us to be able to get a party for things that require it in the game. Or is this just a way to make the Relic quest take longer to complete by having us stand and shout like old times?

Yeah, I've been standing all day trying to get it done.

I'm surprised they weren't duty-findable when you get them, and half the groups I got into (which were JP groups) were suprised as well. Then when we get to amador keep expecting it to be another one of those special craps, we find out we have to duty finder it and do it with 4 people lol. How do they go from and 8 player server-side fight, to a duty finder fight, to a solo mob kill, back to an 8 player server-side fight, and then all duty finder afterwords...? tediousness :P.

I suppose this makes all the anti-duty finder folks happy tho, people have to find parties on their own server. Still would be very good if they add those 2 fights to the duty finder.

Why not just add FATES to the duty finder too? Let's add generic quests as well. It's not like there has to be some sense of community past loading into an instance with a roulette of people you don't know.

Or you could find a Free Company, get an organized team, and do end game content the way it is meant to be done.

How about restricting it to the server then? Problem solved, you end up with people on the same server and you don't have to stand around shouting all day.

I...think the most simple solution is join a Linkshell or Free Company, kinda like what we did in XI and XIV 1.0 and pretty much any other MMO with a guild system when we wanted to do certain content :p

omg you do not want to pug these fights with randoms the fights are extremely difficult and you need to memorize things and communicate if you duty find and wipe multiple times.... you have to re teach over and over and over and over.

Where's the sense of community when there's about 70 people sitting in a camp waiting for FATEs to spawn, only to have them stampede and roflstomp it within 30 seconds?

What we really need is an addition to the search/comment system that allows you to input specific things you want to do. No duty finder, no shouting.

Did hydra with totally random people, twice. Would do it again with randoms from other servers.

they should just put everything in the duty finder its your choice if you want to use it.
