Looking for list of off skills I should get.

Anyone have the list of off skills I should get? I used to have one but lost it. One with skills from other classes.

For a GLA/PLD main, the 5 skills that I look for the most are Foresight (MRD), Bloodbath (MRD), Cure (CNJ), Raise (CNJ), and Mercy Stroke (MRD). Both Cure and Raise are gotten prior to CNJ 15 which is required for unlocking Paladin. Foresight and Bloodbath are both gotten prior to MRD 8 (Think Foresight is at 4, Bloodbath is at 8). Mercy Stroke is at 26 MRD. All cross-class skills for PLD are attained by MRD 26 and CNJ 34 (Stoneskin).

As a WAR/MRD, I like:

PGL: Second Wind, Featherfeet, Internal Release
GLA: Flash, Convalescence

Second Wind and Featherfeet are obvious. IR helps us with hate gen, improves the return on Bloodbath, and can help get huge Inner Beast heals.
Flash is obvious; it's a PBAOE instead of forward cone like OP is, and it's not a weapon skill. Ideal for rounding up awkward pulls that can't let you position for an OP easily, generating threat on CC'ed targets, and filling the no-WS gap after Berserk.
Convalescence is something you use with a 5 stack of Wrath to really pump up incoming heals, and can also be used to get larger Storm's Path and Inner Beast heals, in addition to upping the healing on Bloodbath as well.

Cure sucks on GLads. Hardly worth the spot.

I personally go for defensive CDs from Lancer, Pug, Marauder and the like. I do use protect and raise from Conjurer for soloing and rezzing dead people I find.

PGL: Second Wind, Featherfeet, Internal Release
GLA: Flash, Convalescence, and later Provoke (if you are bothered enough)
LNC: Keen Flurry, Impulse Drive (FATEs or dps-ing)
ARC: Raging Strike (damage buff), Straight Shot (Crit Chance)

Cure is bad on both GLA and PLD, until you desperately need it. I had a Brayflox run where our healer didn't enter the Hellbender fight and got locked out, but we still won because I was able to defensive roll/cure spam and kite the boss while DPS took it down. I agree with the other statements for GLA though.

That's really kind of a terrible example to show cure is worth anything. Obviously any heal would be better then no heals. Under normal circumstances it's junk.

I actually have a question, and can't create a new thread for it because job too low...

Regarding convalescence: does it increase the ealing you are doing, or the healing you are receiving ? Some people suggested that is was the former, which seems insanely useless for a PLD, so i would rather confirm it is indeed the later.

It increases the healing you receive by 50%.

Excellent thread: Here's a question, how needed is Provoke? Understanding that it's a Enmity + 1 ability. Does the Marauder have a comparable oh S#*$ button?

I only use Provoke in the emergency situation I lose aggro to a party member, preferrably the healer. If you can hold aggro very well, then it's rarely needed. If you have trouble keeping hate, then it's a must.

Not for sure if they get one like provoke. But I use provoke for long range taunts mostly.
