Yoshi P lied about there being a sufficient number of quests to level multiple classes. Right now I am very hateful towards him for having believed the bullshit he spewed and defended what he has said to several people about this.
lead man dont get vacations.
just because you finish one project dont mean theres not a number of other things to do.
Translation: So far today: I've been blocked out of logging into the game for five hours today, I have had nearly an hour of Garuda wipes because of server lag saying party members were not behind stones on Garuda despite they most certainly were, with a dead body there to prove it. My party failed Dzamael Darkhold because of wiping to Batraal for 20 minutes due to Desolation hitting virtually every single time and I was booted.
Now, I want to quest, and despite my intentions to do so with 100% done in Coerthas and level locked out of Mor Dhona at 44 I am unable to level by questing.
I am trying very hard to logic my way into staying in the game so I can eventually play DRK again. I am a very honest and hateful person, and I am angry at Square and Yoshi P.
Out of curiousity, are you doing any leves? I partially feel the same as you, since it seems each story quest after 40~ only gets you about 1/3 a level including side quests. The FATE zerg is really boring imo, and it seems to be the path of least resistance.
He doesn't deserve a vacation until this disaster is fixed. I am a huge fan of SE but it is still a nightmare a week after release. Companies can see the number of pre-orders and somewhat plan for how many servers they need... this was just a terrible decision made by the company to wing it and fix it as the game goes along.
This isn't true in the SLIGHTEST. There aren't enough quests to level 1 class to max. I've grinded fates for 2 levels (43-45) and I heard its the same all the way to 50. There simply aren't enough quests past level 35~ ish. Its the content that was never tested and it shows.
Funny, are you sure? Because I have done one of every single Dungeon (despite my failed Dzemael Darkhold), one of every Guildhest, I have chased, many, many, many, many FATEs, I have tried to be frugal in my leves except for...maybe 10-20 GC Leves and doing the one levequest per zone as per the quest to do a leve...and I am completely out of quests at 44. So...where are the quests that I'm not seeing in Coerthas, Mor Dhona, Outer La Noscea, East and South Shroud, and Northern Thanalan?
I'm in the mood to quest grind solo, not have the tedious aspect of chasing after FATEs, many of which are 50% or less due to travel time and the rampant wanton excess of players in Coerthas, forcing a silver or bronze, or even mobs such as Svara to be CULLED by the server.
From where the game had been in version 1 to where it is now, Yoshi has done a fantastic job (along with their entire team)! I myself am very frustrated with the lag and congestion, but I know I have to be patient for a few more days, which I don't want to do. I spent a lot of money getting a new graphics card just for this game, and have been very much looking forward to it.
I can't speak to the quests at lvl 45 or above since my highest is only at 31 for now. I have heard from several people that after 45 there aren't many quests, if that is the case then there are ways to level, but not rapidly. Use Leve quests, Fates, and some grinding. Personally, a big slow down at 45 would be welcome! I see people go from a level 1 to 20 in a day, which I have not done. I take time to read quest texts, explore, and usually catch a few fish :)
I guess porting to every zone with Recommended up to see what quests are available isn't looking hard enough. I don't care how badly you want to white knight this issue, you're wrong.
Edit - Judging by your level you aren't even to the point where the quests drop off. You have no frame of reference on this issue. Thanks though.
I had enough quests to level up not one, not two but three classes. I don't know what you're talking about.
