Japanese "Technical Support" vs US "Technical Support"

I got bored and popped over to Japan side of the forum. テクニカルサポート = Technical Support

Look at them, they only have 73 posts. USA has 38,000 posts and growing.

Do they really not have the problems we're having or are they a lot more strictly moderated, or is it a culture thing where it's inappropriate for them to bitch and whine like we do?


Edit: Sorry, meant posts, not threads. Still a very high difference if you consider threads...

Cultural thing.

I think you may have added an extra digit. I'm counting 3700 posts in NA Technical. But your point is still valid... and yeah, I think it's more cultural. That, and they probably have less issues than the NA/EU servers, so thus less complaints.

They're just not having as many problems. It's understandable.

Most of the posts here are 1017, 90k and they're really not having those issues. You take those away and there are only a few complaints.

And they follow directions to search forums, then "like" posts that are relevant to their exact problem instead of creating thousands of threads saying the exact same thing.

If the NA/EU servers had the same server/player ratio I'm guessing the forums would be quieter...

i thought jp servers didn't have any problems until now?

I'd call "Not being able to play Final Fantasy XIV" a dire inadequacy for someone who wants to play Final Fantasy XIV.

Yeah, but there have already been statements made saying that the staff are working on fixing it. What good is complaining going to do at this point?

^ Cultural difference. Americans are going to complain right up until the very minute they get their way. Japanese don't.

And Aussies are just going to get back to drinking until things are resolved. Screw it, it's 1PM on Sunday, and I'm still hung over from last night. Best cure? Get drunk again! It ain't worth getting stressed over!
