Serioously, did no one learn their lesson the first time:confused: Ive been playing ff for at least ten years, ffxi before ffxiv and ffvii-ix before that :o. While the issues with xi may not apply to this login issue scenario the same problems have plagued ffxiv :eek:. This goes all the way back to the beta of xiv, login issues crashing and all the load issues are supposed to be worked out in the BETA period guys:mad:. I've experienced these issure with xiv 1.0 beta and now on xiv ARR (problem here is you should have remembered back to the 1.0 launch). DID you not expect so many people to play? maybe add a variable for unaccounted possible players. Watch the presale numbers; watch the information that you have access to and add at least 10-15% capacity to the servers hell double the servers (at least then you can close unpopulated servers without upsetting people).

Then add MORE. For Christ's sake; this is the most frustrated I've been with this team since Yoshi stepped up. Until launch I would have said you were doing everythingright my friend, the game looks amazing; the story seems to come together now and the kinks seemed ironed out:D . So thats to good news Yoshi. Now the bad (and its not a killer) but this is how S.E. drove out new players in 2011. S.E. needs to beef up the load capacity BEFORE Launch.Now its too late and people are getting frustrated; players who would be spending hours getting to know ARR are setting sights on games that they can actually log in to. While the people like myself are happy to sit and wait for you to figure out this issue (as long as your willing to listen to me complain) there are countless others who will see this as a failure to launch (agian) and abandon the Franchise for good. If longevity and sustainablity were you plans for FFXIV A.R.R. then this is your first stumbling block.

Final note to the producer: Yoshi, your doing almost everything right, i hope you address this issue in a future "Letter From the Producer" I love what you've done with the place, now lets add some more space. Servers are easy to merge and easy to close; ticked off players are hard to satiate. :)

The cycle of error 2002, unable to retrieve NA/EU, error 1017, error 90000 is getting rather tiresome even for a patient one such as myself.

I'll let u guys in on a super secret ......secret of all SECRETS. If u try to log in repeatably ......... you will get in; in under 10mins it works everytime. I know this is so SECRET that it works everytime. Who woulda thunk it.

Australia and New Zealand), more places to go less people congesting up the other servers and maybe to encourage it offer a free transfer or bonus for those that do move to a new server.Quote:
