Error 10102?

what now?
i got a new error
i try to login and keep "now loading" and nothing happens till 10102 error appears ..

anyone with same problem?

Yeah, same thing for about the last 30 minutes. People from other forums are stating this has been going on for a few hours.

I too am stuck in this perpetual hell. I miss 1017. At least I didn't have to close the game after 1017 because the Play button was still clickable.

Yep, same. Have to restart the fucking launcher with every login attempt. I guess that's one way to just stop people from trying to play at all.

Thanks SQEN. It's been over a week and you have taken zero action to fix your game. Things just get worse and worse as there are more players and even more afkers.

Worst MMORPG launch ever, IMO. Been playing MMORPGs obsessively since EQ and I've never experienced anything this bad. SQEN is approaching heroic levels of incompetence.

Yes, the same error to me for about 2 hours ... it started the weekend and all play ff:D

Same for me. Home from work and tired and just wanted to play a few hours before bed. Seems like that's off the table.

Wow dude... chill. Its been one of the better launch's in my opinion. WoW or other such games were MUCH worse than this at launch!

I'm on Ultros NA and have experienced Error 10102 for 3 hours during sporadic login attempts. The lobby servers seem to be having issues and more often than not I end up with a CTD after failing to connect.

Logging into Ultros is a completely impossible feat as far as I can tell.

Seems NA is gone again.

When I logged out I saw the start button was greyed out. I couldn't get back in as I got this error... Should never have logged out. :/

Pretty much. I was able to log in easily around 1130am EST. Got booted from the game for the first time with a 90k error. Was able to reconnect after a few minutes. Went AFK for like 3 minutes and came back to another boot from the game and another 90k error. It's been cycling 10102/90k errors when trying to log on ever since. *shrug*

What do people expect though? It's a Saturday and primetime in EU so the servers and lobby are getting slammed harder than ever.

I never thought I'd miss the 1017 World is Full error so hard though haha

He is kinda right, WoW was down for a solid week at launch, like not login errors, all servers down.

10102 and 90000 from what I believe appear when there is either extreme server congestion (which 1017 kinda "fixed") and when DF is down. Usually until a maintenance it won't get resolved. I'm just waiting for tuesday before I start lighting fires and picking up pitchforks. :)

Well i didn't play WoW but my brother did. And if i recall atleast Blizzard shut the game down for like 3-4 weeks to fix issues. They didn't just leave a select few play the game and just not allow others. Seems the best course for me to just shut it down so NO one plays, instead of leaving the people that can only play in peak hours behind, until it's resolved. And DCUO had this same issue when it was released, and they had New servers up within days. I wonder what is the hold up on SquareEnixs end..

Not sure if it's the same for others, but after being gifted with this 10102 error, and it takes me back to the start menu, Start is only grayed out for several seconds before it comes back and I can push it again. I haven't had to totally exit the game at all yet, so I guess that's a plus? :/

I still got to play some, at least. Can't say SE isn't working on it until after they say their work should be done, which is next week. I will survive for a while longer not being able to play one video game. When it comes to about Tuesday, as MarquisRegalia said, I'll start getting angry.

Getting this on Cactuar also.

Booted out with 90000 error which disconnected my modem as well. Restarted modem, and now I'm getting the same error as everyone else. Error 10102. It's been happening to a lot of my Free Company members as well. Hopefully this is all fixed by Monday when they finish their data center upgrade.

I'm on Excalibur server.

Just got 90000 error in the middle of a dungeon then error 10102. These were supposedly fixed second day of EA. Another one of squeenix lies/screw ups. I have serious doubts whether this game will succeed. It doesn't seem like they can do anything right lol.

Okay, while I agree that these connection issues are shit you all need to keep in mind this game is breaking concurrent connection records. I'm sure not in SE's wildest dreams did they expect this level of IMMEDIATE success. I HATE these connection issues but the ACTUAL game is great. Anyone who is enough of a flake to stop playing an MMO because it's hard to log in a week after launch was going to quit anyway and the games success is NOT contingent upon your satiation.

Get over yourselves.

That said, 10102 yes! At least SE is coming up with new and exciting ways to deny me access.

The game froze while teleporting then booted me out. Since then I cannot log back in with 10102 error and EU/NA server cannot be loaded message.
