Are NA/EAST servers down?

tryed logging in this morning and the NA servers are down.

any body having this problem?

Yep, they're not down.... Guildies playing right now. Game is just broken.

No they aren't down. People are just logging in and staying logged in afk which takes up space on the server, so they rest of the people are having to fight to get in to the spots that are left. On top of that they seem to be having lobby error issues and sometimes the NA/EU server list, or the JP server list will not show up.

Not down.

I was stupid enough to log off. Now I have been trying to log back on for the past 3 hours but servers don't show up...but people in guild are playing

I can get the servers to show up, but when I try to connect I get either 1017, 10102 or 90000, so it's kinda pointless to keep trying.

Servers won't show up for me either, I'm kind of mad.

I was thinking the very same thing, that I shouldn't have logged off for the night, but then I realize that everyone is more or less compounding the problem on top of the problem.

People are scared that they won't be able to get back in, so they are remaining logged on, keeping other people out, but everyone is doing it then the server remains full and the cycle repeats itself lol. It's kind of sad, but at least the devs are working on it. Though, I tend to think (however naive it is) that if everyone just logged off as normal and didn't stand idle for days at a time, that we wouldn't have as many lockouts as there are. But again, that's a bit of a naive assumption on my part, but I'd think it'd work out a little better than "all the people in the restaurant sitting at the tables sleeping when there's a line of customers waiting to get in".

I love how, when this started happening today, they posted that the japanese servers are having issues. They didn't even mention NA/EU at all. Either they don't read the forums to notice there are issues, or they don't care enough to tell us they are working on it.

This is a fiasco plain and simple.

New, beautiful, high performance car and I can't even get into the garage to drive it.

The NA servers are not loading for me when I login. I only see the Japan servers.

they need to hurry up with the new server room that they said they were going to add. if nothing is done by this next week i think they should add the time on to the free period for how ever long it takes to fix this problem. yea some people are getting in to play but others are now and the not able to is in a high enough range that this seems logical. but come on SE some of the old problems were fixed now to only create new ones.

Logged off 20 mins ago. Tried to log back in and now either getting"
"Unable to load NA/EU"
"Unable to load JP"

If I am able to select my character is shows the loading screen but then error 10102 shows. I did get a error 90000 once too during load.

Is there any acknowledgement that there's a new problem by SE? This hasn't happened to me before today.

I am getting Unable to Load NA/EU servers

I got past it a few times, but it's been over an hour since I have, and when I did get past it, I got error 10102 or error 90000 10-15 seconds after the "Now Loading..." screen.

I haven't seen Error 1017 all day. This is a new issue.

Got booted around 1:30 PM EST due to 90k while in a dungeon.

I can't see the server list as of 2:30 PM.

@1247 PM CST: Was able to have the error change to 1017, after 15 mins of spamming to login and receiving the error, I finally entered queue. Was able to stay on server for 30 mins
@130 PM CST: Error 90000. Tried to login and once again long load time and then receive error 10102 again.

I want my 1017 back!! :) At least I know whats going on then.

That notice they posted referred to the JP server, unless they copy pasted and forgot to put the actual NA/EU servers on that list

They definitely changed something. I finally got in after 2 hours of trying. If you get NA/EU group not found it's best to open another instance of the client, do not keep trying if it instantly pops up with that message.

Second. When I finally got past the 10102/90000 issues on the Now Loading... screen and I was placed into the queue. The Queue size was 271. I've never seen the queue that big, so it seems as though they have increased it.

Also, after waiting in the queue the first time I got booted again on the Now Loading... screen with error 10102. I was able to get back into the queue on the next attempt though, and was 267 in the queue. This time I was able to log in.

I haven't seen error 1017 all day though.

This worked for me. Still can't get in but at least I can see my character and the worlds now. heh

I finally got the NA/EU server list to come up, but now I am spammed with 10102...asd;lkg ur0nugiehnfc4emofguew!@!@!@

Yeah, I'm pretty peeved about it. I mean the fact that I was unable to log in at 8:30 this morning is just stupid.

Square Enix, you have disgraced yourselves beyond recompense, kimutai would not restore your honor at this point... :mad:

Pondering over giving the community an extended 7 days of free trial period?! Many of us have spent endless hours simply attempting to access this game...that's time from our lives we'll never recoup! Contemplate HARDER on how you're going to compensate your irate fan base; that would be the HONORABLE thing to do! :mad::mad:
