Unable to Register Code for PS3 Version

**This issue is currently in the process of possibly being fixed! If you have any other ideas on what could be wrong, feel free and post! It could still help others and possibly myself**

Just so you all know, I purchased the psychical copy, I did not get the digital copy! Just so there's no confusion on what I'm saying.

I've been playing since Phase 3 of the beta and pre-ordered the game so I could continue playing. I entered my code and all that, was able to play, then I got booted off yesterday [I'm assuming that was when the early access ended] and was asked to register my game. Well, I have the code and no idea where to place said code. When I try to play the game:

Set up a Square Enix account.
Link your Sony Entertainment Network Account.
Confirm Purchase information.

happens. I already have an account, obviously, so I try to input my password and it tells me "No valid service account available to play Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. In order to play Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, you must first purchase the digital download from the PlayStationStore or register a product code. *Please restart the client for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn." First it said I had to change my password, so I did. Now every time I try to get on it tells me the same message. I logged onto my account and used the 6/3/6/3 code from the SE Members thing that comes in the game and now the game is registered on my SE account, but it hasn't changed a thing.

Also, no, the PS3 store thing does NOT work. I tried to enter my registration code via the store and it tells me it's incorrect/not valid. I also have no received an email about anything.

Anyone else having this issue? Any help?

Which code did you try? The one you want is the 12 letter code on the back of the little booklet that came in the game box, not the more obvious one on the red and white registration card. (That threw me for a while until someone else here pointed out where to find the one in Sony's format.) Enter the 12 letter code in the PS3 store and it should accept it.

If that works, it will take you to a download page just because Sony always goes to the download page next after you enter purchase codes. You don't need to download again, though. Just exit the store and go back to the game. The game should then prompt you for whether the new code should be applied to your current account or a new one. Be sure to select your current one.

You need to make sure that the game you bought matches the region of your SE account (check in mogstation to see if you are Americas or EU region) your PSN account which needs to match mogstation region (so NA or EU).

I only used the SE Members code on my actual SE account. I also tried my registration code that's on my FF14 booklet and it didn't work [I have either a 0 or an O and I tried both of them, neither worked]. It keeps telling me that the code I entered isn't valid and to check my code to make sure it's correct

Where can you check if it's an NA or EU server? I know Malboro is an NA server but I'm not sure where you can even check that with my PSN account

I'm on an American server*

Maybe instead of an 0 or an O, it is a D? haha I had the same problem and it looked like an O but also a 0, when nether worked i tried D and it finally went through and I was like, "it doesn't even look like a D!!" haha :p

... I... Thank you, lol. It worked, it's downloading now. I've seen people have issues with the download, so we shall see. I'll edit this topic if anything else happens, but thank you again! <3

Same issue here, I've JUST bought the PS3 copy and the 12-digit code didn't work. I'm on my NA PSN - I do suspect that my copy is an EU one as the leaflet had the EU URL on it. - the one with the 18-digit on it.

I'm hoping they'd replace my code - sent in a ticket earlier, but god knows how long before I would receive a reply.

@Nivis: Ohno ;; I've heard of a few people with that same issue. I think you can exchange it, or you can always make a new post about it and get others help ^^

Yeah, I'm going to see if I can exchange this copy at the store I bought to a z1 instead. That was my bad as I didn't check the zones -.-;
