Exactly like it says. When i turn sound all the way down in game, I don't want to hear weather effects.. . Yes there is sound mixer on Win 7, but that's not the point.

I totally agree with you, especially the wind sounds in the desert are so annoying when you are on Teamspeak or Vent.
We need an option to turn it off please, i know there is an option for it in configuration menu but that doesnt do anything with the volume of these sounds.
Wow, where gonna say sound mixer when i saw subject but understand thats not the point. I'd want better options for this to, getting sound of is a pain in fullscreen :p
That's my biggest gripe, is the whole "vent" thing xD
I agree on this.
also....
REMOVE THE AETHERYTE SOUND OMGGG
Gives me a friggen headache.
+1 from me......
I can do without the "immersion" of jumping everytime a door slams behind me, thankyouverymuch.
Doors, Wind storms....... I don't understand why these things don't also fall under the "sound effects" category :(
This is General Discussion, there are sections for technical support and suggestions. Please use those.
o.o the sandstorms in uldah are soooooo loud. +1 from me.
And the pitter-patter sound of lalafells running too. :(
Been playing with sound turned off in the config tool for 3 months now, because of this.
I watch TV/Movies on my other screen, and it was to much of a hassle that the in-game controls could not turn down the environmental noise, so I just turned it all OFF.
totally agree with this. environmental sounds need a slider as well.
A solid +1 for this thread. Aetheryte, wind storms, and doors make this game rather unpleasant when they're 10X louder than everything else.
It seems like some sounds are not controlled by the volume mixers under the Config Menu. There is an ambient 'wind' noise always present (in Uldah atleast) and the noise or open/closing doors.
