Re-register account?

I've been playing the game for a while now. Been having login issues like everyone else on the 1017 code error. But today, I tried launching the game, and it prompted me to register the game, as if I have to setup my account again for the first time. I closed the launcher and restarted but, everytime I login after the launcher shows, it prompts me to start an account, and my previous code won't work now to register. Please help!!

I am experiencing the same issue. Upon starting the launcher, it takes me automatically to register a new account/code even though I have been playing for days now. It seems as if there is no way to get 'back' to the main log-in (with all the news feeds and what not) and the launcher never defaults back to this page.

Is there any work around? Obviously re-entering the same code does not work (already registered).

same thing happen to me today submitted a ticket to costumer service. bt if anyone can find a solution before i here from them it would be nice.

I finally managed to figure out what they were wanting.

Go to Square's website and add the new 6 digit-3 digit-6 digit-3 digit code from the August 27 e-mail to your account. After that load up FF14 and THEN enter the 20 digit code from the Aug 27 e-mail and finish registration from there.

Early access ended today. You'll need to enter the 20 digit code for the actual game (not the one that you entered for the early access). If you got a digital version you should have gotten an e-mail with it. If you got a physical copy, it's located in the booklet I think. If you ordered a physical copy but haven't received it yet.. then you'll just have to sit and wait until it arrives (which is my case.. )

I do not see an email from square on the 27th. I'm definitely confused and frustrated.

I found an email from the 24th with a registration code I hadn't used yet, hadn't even opened the email, but when I went to put it in, says it was already used =/ I already feel like I won't be getting in again today

Which site are you referring too? There's so many now idk which to go too.

Keeps telling the code is already used, which it was to my account on FFXIV 1 but I now have service on FFXIV 2 with no flipping character but I can't play on FFXIV 1.

Use the 18 digit code here that you got with the Aug 27 e-mail and then start the game. When the game asks you for the 20 digit code it should now accept the one from the Aug 27 e-mail.
