Please improve the checking of other player's bazaars

You can check the other player's gear and still move, but when you check someone else's bazaar it makes your character stop moving. This has been an annoying issue long before release. Too many times characters run by, they have an item I want, but run out of range and I'm unable to make the purchase in time because I'm stuck in place.

My suggestion is to change this so we can continue freely move around (within range of the bazaar you're checking) and still make a purchase.

Because of this, I never check a bazaar. So fix it please.

They need to get rid of the main menu to access everything.

I'm surprised there hasn't been much response thus far. This issue doesn't bother anyone else?

It was mentioned that he understands players concerns about it but I don't think he responded about it since the forums opened yet. However just another basic feature that stepped back from XI's -.-.

XIV's bazaar system is a lot more expansive, but there's absolutely no reason for us becoming stationary when even a basic one you can freely move, I do know some MMOs with bazaars you can't move either, especially if you're chatting with the seller in the "chatroom".

Well I hope they change it soon

This bothers me too. I hope they do something about it soon.

This and this. I can't wait until the UI isn't in the way.

The latest update was pretty nice though. The UI feels way more responsive now. Now if they just fix issues like this it'll be great.

Yeah, the UI is like a combat system on its own.

I say get rid of the icon altogether, if someone wants something he can:

A. Go to the market wards (lol)
B. Ask a LS mate (if he has one)
C. Spam WTS/WTB (and hope someone else is on)

I vote for a system message to let the person know to stop running. I like that ppl need to stop actually. too many times in ffxi someone woul run while checking me bazaar run outa range come back check more run away just to check for a third time and not buy anything. I turned off my messages cuz it was so annoying. why do you need to run to check a person bazaar. Only while they are running sure, but if they stand still it gets annoying for the bazaar person. You can also ask the person to wait.

Definate big YES :D I never check bazaar's anymore cause of this too since the wards became alot more viable. You can /check people while running atm so why not this ?! I'd also love if bazaars were combined with the check window like 11's, this would also negate it from the need to open the menu! Just use a /check marco , icon shows below their armor maybe with the return of the lil box where you can type in a comment? and all u do is click it while looking at thier armor if u want to see thier goods! :D One can only hope *^.^* One of the many things they decided not to do in 14 cause they didn't want to do alot of the same stuff in 11 yet it worked great. Would work well with the current UI np imo xD

Edit : Oh and would it hurt to be able to open up the teleport select window while moving either? Small nitpick but falls in same catagory of being able to move and use certain UI at same time. Or at the very least add an anima count somewhere other than your teleport window? :P Sometimes I love to check my count on the go :D

They prob did it for the reason I stated. It gets annoying when the same person multi check your bazaar cuz he ran out of range.

right! console friendly UI alway being issue

why we can't just click on the bazaar icon or repair icon to access their bazaar?
