mount quest

i cant find any help about getting a mount ,i have the seals ,i'm lvl 24 now belong to the seventh socion and .i casnt seem to get any help on what to do next,,any help plz..

When you join up with a grand company you have to acquire some company seals by doing FATES, dungeons etc which you can then trade for chocobo mount.

One of the first quests after joining the GS is to obtain Chocobo Issuance - should be in your Journal under quests - if not talk to one of the NPCs in the GC... Then you'll purchase the Issuance from one fo the GC Officers and take it to the nearby Chocobo "dealer" to obtain your "company vehicle" ;)

How do you get other mounts tho i see different ones

Some of them are part of the CE version of the game, some are class specific like white unicorns.

How much to purchase?

You don't purchase the mounts. Coeurl comes with CE. Unicorn you get from the quest that only CNJ can do but can be used as any class once acquired. Each class will get a unique mounts eventually but CNJ first.

u take 2000 seals to the quartmaster of ur GC.. buy a choco ticket... take choco tixket to the choco trainer in the town . he lets u name the choco and then return to GC to complete the quest for the whistle. . or something like that my memory is hazy of the order of the last few steps but u get the idea I think

As stated by others, join a GC, then there will be a quest offered in the GC area for the license, aquire the seals, then turn it in at the chocobo dealer (where you hire the porter, etc in the main city)

The other mounts are cosmetic, and are acquired through various means. You also can get different armor for your chocobo to make him look different.

Here is a list of all mounts and how to get them:

Chocobo: Do mainstory line. And join Grand Company.
Legacy Chocobo: You must be an player from 1.0 that has legacy status.
Goobbue Mount: This was only avalible to get in version 1.0
Courel Mount: Buy CE or digital upgrade if ur a 1.0 player.
Magitek Armor: Do main story.
Unicorn Mount: Do all the conjurer class quest.
The flying eye(i dont remember the excact name :P ): get it as a Veteran Reward for paying 180 days.

What city is the GC in?

They are in all cities. But to join them you need to get further in the main story!

ok, need to feed this one back, as a player from 1.0, im not legacy, i aquired the bird back in 1.0, and was with immortal flames, ive rejoined them, but still no access to my chocobo, ive done the slyphs bit of the main story line, and finished up with toto rak, am i missing something here?

the option to rebuy the whistle or assurance isnt there on the quartermaster and the chocobo mount is on my companion page, but still cant use it at all, any one know what im missing here

I have the seals and I joined a gc what quest do I have to do?

It's call Voidal Resonator and you get it as a 90 days veteran reward.

What about Calamity Salvager NPC - have you checked there?

Does anyone know if the Coeurl mount will be available to any other players like a quest or anything. I don't have anything against CE people getting them 'cuz, that's CE, but it'd be nice to earn them or maybe dungeon for them later xD
