WAR bonus points

Hey I've been heavily debating on going full str or full vit, as bofh appear to be equally beneficial. Any advise?

Ahh I sense an argument brewing.

I'm going full VIT although others will disagree. But my reasons are as follows -

-Full STR only adds 1~2% dmg at 50. Which is basically nothing.
-STR will boost health from Inner Beast etc but only marginally
-STR lose more attack power after defiance so some of that STR has gone to waste.
-STR will reduce parrying damage however with a full VIT you get an extra 9HP regen every 3 seconds therefore you may only parry some attacks while full VIT will more than make up for that over the time of the battle.
-STR will not help magic damage so more HP is preferred
-VIT benefits from Defiance and Thrill of Battle.
-VIT can take a much higher one off hit.
-SCH skill heals 20% of targets HP so VIT build will benefit.
-You always have Berserk and Inner Release to make up for lost damage.
-Keen Flurry (LNC - Parry chance + 40%) isn't available to WAR only MRD.
-Stoneskin works off percentage of HP so VIT comes off on top there.

There are many other arguments. These are what convinced me to go VIT. Others will have other ideas.

Whatever you choose - it's the player, not the build.

EDIT: Plus you look badass with a ridiculous amount if HP.

Eh personally the way I see it I'm going str:vit in a 1:2 ratio so at 50 I'll have 10str and 20 vitality extra for the extra threat generation and the slightly higher health pool to have a little more leeway when taking big hits.

Thats exactly my plan. 10 Str. 20 Vit.
If I feel Str is not adding enough I will go full vit

Full VIT for warriors and full STR for paladins.

I believe this has been discussed into oblivion.

Then I have no idea where you been looking lol. PLD's are going mostly VIT and most warriors are going alot more into STR ...

There really isnt enough data out yet to make a final decision. It honestly doesnt matter that much, since you can reset your bonus points with 10k seals.

It doesn't really make too much of a difference what you choose. Gains are pretty minor from your allocated points.

Having said that, I went 30 vitality, because:

- Defiance gives you +25% HP.
- Thrill of Battle
- Stoneskin is more effective with more HP, and Stoneskin is really good.

i'm just going 50/50 on str and vit. i don't think it's going to make an enormous difference either way, and MRD will likely have a DPS job branching off it eventually where full vit will kind of be wasted.

That equates to a few hours of FATE farming. What are you going to spend seals on once you have AF armor?

I woildnt be fate farming at 50 tbh. Ill be doing dungeons primals and raids(when available.) But you are right i wont be using seals, although I wont really be accruing any either :P
