How to bypass 1017

i need to add subtitles, but essentially, he cant get in, then gets a queue, then hits 1017, so on n so on............
We cant get in, its a fail on Enix's part, Square failed totally on pretty much everything after merging with them, they just can't help it now, too bad they've lost a ton of subscriptions from what was claimed to be an "early access" where nobody could log in, to now...... where they still cant log in, so sad... :cool:

And this needed yet another wasted thread, why exactly? Just needing to feel like a special snowflake?

I am sure a ton of them will come back when SE fix everything. Many people just want to play.

nope totally unneded, just like the error 1017, they could easily apply a fix for us, but we arent in japan, so we dont matter

So... been trying since 3:00pm EST to login. Have they just completely turned off logins or are they "limiting it" Is the "should be fixed next week" post for real? I'm very frustrated to say the least. The game is awesome, but the servers... wow.

yes, the servers for us are awful, and ya log to JP servers and there is no prob, even on the most populated, racism never seemed so obvious

So no more logins or will i eventually at least get a queue. My questions remain unanswered. So next week until i can log in again? I've never NOT been able to get in after about an hour, 6 hours just seems like there isnt even a chance. I mean, it's like I've been banned for not logging on earlier and refusing to log off... lol. Just showing some frustration in the hopes that I can play again Before and during the 3 day weekend :3

If the continued congestion is any sign, I'd say they really haven't lost many subscriptions to this. Launch problems happen, people know this. Yes it sucks and they did an awful job of communicating what was happening (I raged about this on the forums too) but they have announced their intended solutions to a problem they acknowledged existed. The JP servers are having issues too, login restrictions etc and I've seen the "unable to update jp servers" error plenty lately when logging in. Things will be better in a week when new servers are added.

you've been posting that same video for a while now on multiple threads, i have no idea what you are trying to accomplish by doing that except maybe just trying to be an annoyance.

Well, I'm playing on a japanese server, since day one. over the weekend I couldn't even see the NA/EU servers, accept when I first logged on the morning of EA, that loggn lead to E5006, followed by a 2002 and then 1012's twice then the game wouldn't recycle and I had to reboot the game, which promptly gave me two more 1012's and then hung, after that the NA/EU servers became a blank list. So, I clicked on JP and accept for a very few OFF hours I've been stuck there. Sorry Yoshi P, Your hype over the login issue is just an excuse for very poorly managed launch! over limited server character login's just bring dislike and will cost Sqex a ton of money in lost players. On launch days players may grumble but they'd much rather sit in a queue waiting then be flatly denied the server their friends are playing on! Going somewhere else isn't an option and equals lost revenue.

im waiting until i can log in which will prolly be when they get more servers for everyone, until then i will not clog the servers with my 1017 error over and over again
