I feel like Im the only one enjoying this game.

Is everyone always this angry? Playing since beta 3. Enjoyed every moment of the game. Infact the only point I have ever gotten angry is randoms from duty finder making Sunken
Temple ALOT harder than it has to be. However the game play is amazing, quests teaching people MMO basics(Great for 1st timers). Story is very compelling. Im a bit worried about PvP balance (Monk seems broken(Dash,CC,and instant!). Mosty tho "I pay money to play this game but all the worlds are full" You paid for the game yes, there is a reason why you get a free month, so issues can be ironed out before people start paying for game time. Things break, but you are not the only one who gets them, SE isnt singling you out, SE isnt trying to prevent you playing.

I havnt had a single issue login other than launch day myself.

Loving it, so much to do, it seems impossible to get bored. Of course, that is when I am able win the log in lottery lol.

Please do not think you're the only one! Me and many of my LS mates are having a great time, even if the log in issues! :D

i'm having so much fun that it's only when i need to check the current character creation updates that i come onto the forum at all.

Is this your first time ever visiting a forum for an MMO game?

Not trying to be rude at all if you have, it's just people are always irate in forums about every little thing. I find it amusing how many people complain about things but pour hundreds of hours into the game they just ranted about.

Personally, this is the most fun I have ever had with an MMO and I enjoy everyday that I log in. As someone who doesn't have a high end PC to play on, I'm very limited in my MMO options. I just crossed over from Defiance (which isn't much of an MMO) and the content available at launch for this game is almost staggering to me. I can't figure out what to do because I want to do everything!!!

In short, avoid the pessimists that inhabit every forum and focus on the fun you are having with the game. :)

The LS and FC mates are what sell the game to me, even tho its ran by /vg/. Everyone makes the game SO much more enjoyable ontop of the amazing gameplay.

I'm having a lot of fun ^^ There's so much to do this time around unlike 1.x launch haha. The only difficulty is getting online.

I'm on one of the most crowded Legacy server Excalibur. Took me about 15 mins to log in at 20:00 PDT last night. Got ACN to 15. Unlocked WHM, mess around a little bit and logged off at 23:30 PDT.

Planning to do lvl 50 Dungeon tonight.

OMG im having so much fun it should be a crime. I had a minor hiccup in he beta that lasted a day and I was disapointed as one would expect but I was also aware that it was a beta and it was to be expected. I have played every waking hour I could so far and im very happy and tired lol. I think I have had gotten no more than 3 hours of sleep on any given day lol. But I work in retail so sleep is not necessary. I CANT GET ENOUGH *pant*.

The game is enjoyable. Trying to get in is not, much of the time. Most people are angry cause they WANT to play

Not alone, definitely. Our Company has been pretty full, even with the log on issues, and everyone has been having fun. Dissatified/frustrated/annoyed people will always complain louder, and more often than someone who is satisfied will praise. Just the nature of the human beast.

You not the only one. The thousands of other players that are able to log in are enjoying...

OP, you definitely aren't the only one. People want to play and are angry they can't get in because the servers are too full. People are definitely enjoying the game once they get logged in.

BECAUSE i like this game so much im that angry. client crash = one hour try to login. this sucks so bad. game is great bug cant play grrrrrrrr

don't you understand? liking things about the game is what made 1.0 fail. you have to hate it, vocally. a community of frothing angry gamers, that's what makes an MMO strong.

sarcasm aside, i frikken love this game. the duty finder alleviates one of the things i hate the most in MMOs (begging for party, i spent more time in XI looking for a party than actually DOING things in that party.) i love the arcanist even if it does feel like "micromanager, the class" it is fun. i try to keep my mind up so i can heal my carbuncle or tank who allowed the healer to be killed forcing me to take over his place or random person in a fate who is getting attacked by boss and can't handle it.
having topaz carbuncle mean he can take some of the heat off the tank (though i switch to emerald in copperbell when dealing with the blob)

Typically, the more people are complaining about not being able to get into a game, the more they enjoy it when they do get to play. So, consider it a good thing there are so many people upset about not being able to play.

I'm having an alright time.
There's somethings I miss from 1.0 (I feel a lot of the more interesting original concepts, visual fidelity, and equipment art direction have taken a step back), but overall I'd say I'm having fun.

im enjoying the game when i can get in im not complaining tho im just being patient i know eventually everything will work the way it should i work in IT on all sorts of computers so i know that not everything is a simple fix. Im sure they are working hard to get this done for everyone to play so im just playing as i can and if not ill play something else.

I have log-in issues every time I try to access the game, but I keep trying because I want to play.
When I do get in, I thoroughly enjoy myself. The graphics are a huge improvement over version 1.0 and I enjoy the new music. Even though I am legacy and have leveled many things, I have to relearn all my jobs/classes so I get to play them again.
And then there's the exploration... 1.0 had some places with a nice view. ARR has lots of areas that I haven't seen yet!

Yep, that is so true! I tanked the L20 Ifrit fight last night, because bollocks to the DD queue, I do have PLD at 50 and even some experience with that and with the Ifrit fight (but as a DD myself).
Man I shouldn't have introed myself to tanking in ARR like that, at least I lasted until after Hellfire, but died to a friggen plume... So stupid

I honestly cant stop playing. I havent had this much fun in a game in years.

I totally love this game.

And I have been experiencing technical problems (just got booted again, now getting error 3102) but it hasn't dampened my enthusiasm. I can see myself playing FFXIV for quite a long while - without running out of things to do.

I'm pretty sure the only people angry are the ones that can't login, I don't believe I've read any complaints about the gameplay- or neutral responses at that, attitudes toward the game seem overwhelmingly positive. I personally get really angry because of my unstable connection, then I can't get back in to the game after I DC. I may say that I hate SE when that happens, but really I don't, it's Time Warner I hate. Once Square upgrades the server housing, I wouldn't be surprised if the forum activity died off completely.

I'm having a blast! So much so that I have a hard time sticking with a single class or tradeskill. All my DoM are between 15 and 22, and am currently leveling mnk gld and lnc. My DoL classes (that I've started) are between 10 and 21, and my DoH are between 8 and 15.

Usually I can't stomach alt classes in MMOs from boredom but I can't get enough of XIV.

I've limited my forum find to slow periods at work, all the negativity here brings down the atmosphere.

You're obviously one of the people AFKing in the game all the time then. That's pretty much everyone's only complaint thus far. Getting in to actually play.

I have to literally drag myself off the game. I love it too much! I don't want to stop playing, but people need to sleep! :p

Love the game! Really, really enjoying it.

Super fun game!

No real issues from here either. I've been able to play every day in P4 and EA for long solid hours.

The people enjoying the game are IN the game, enjoying it. Why are you here on the forum instead of playing?

And its not like all the people angry they can't get in the game think the gameplay is bad (or else they wouldn't care about not being able to get in the game). People are angry at the quality of service they're receiving. You can say the service at a restaurant is terrible and the food is great at the same time. No need to hang yourself because other people are upset they haven't been able to log in since phase 4.
