An increase in total guildleve issuing

I may be the only player to make a post about this but i feel that the maximum ammount of guildleves you can accept should be greater than 8. I mean I understand that if you group with friends or ls mates youll be able to do more, but id like to be able to select more than just 8 for combat and 8 for crafting. also the cooldown timer seems a bit high in my opinion. I have a suggestion that wouldnt really throw off the balance of the game too much , but it would also allow for better guild leve situation. Instead of 8 every 36 hours, let us select up to 12 every 24 hours. This way the player has a large scale of quests to do and doesnt have to wait too long to do more. One of the best experiences in an MMO is to do quests. So i thought i would make this small suggestion and see what all the other final fantasy XIV community feels about it. Thanks for everything youve been doing development team and keep up the awesome work. :)

Has been many discussions about this, I agree that they should increase the amount of leves and lower the reset period.

Of course the issue for SE is that people will rank to end cap too fast and they have no content to keep them occupied, this could change obviously once they add dungeons and raid content.

I imagine by the time of the PS3 launch they may have enough content to consider lowering the leve reset to 24 hours, guess we will have to see.

Of course if we can gain decent SP during dungeons when they are released we may no longer depend so heavily on guildleves.

Guildleves is the the main point of the game it just something to give too casual players. They can log in do the leves and leave it's not the main way to level up your char. For now it's the only thing players have so they do that and behest but soon they add more and more stuff to do it be useless and pointless to do like garrison in ffxi :)

i'm not to sure if adding more guildleves would help much as I do believe they made it for casual players as well, but players also want to party and grind on something worthwhile. If they did add more leves and shorten the reset time it would completely destroy the need for Partying. I really don't see a challenge in leves as they're pretty simple and can adjust the difficulty at any time. Guildleves also deprive players of learning their class perspectively as most mobs in guildleves are dead within seconds and its a 111111111 spam followed by a Weaponskill. it's why I often find myself soloing or with a small group of people working on dynamics and adapt to different situations, often you will find players who are still struggling in their 30's because they haven't learned to properly play there class. it's just my opinion and I do get tired of leves and find relief when i'm in an actual party. Another point is BR I find people in 40-50 range that dont know how to do Battle Regimen because Guildleve mobs dont give you a chance to do so as they die so quickly. Battle Regimen is a beautiful thing if you learn and practice it. Reducing the reset time and adding more leves would make this game to easy and I dont think that's what this game needs after 1.17a patch.

Yep. many people have requested this.

In my opinion, you should be able to select up to 8 leves each reset from each rank range (i.e. 8 rank 1 leves, 8 rank 10 leves, 8 rank 20 leves, etc) and hold up to a maximum of 16 leves at once.

good idea op and i agree.

more leves in no way would lessen partying or any other aspect of the game. end game quicker?..a small bit maybe many players already have capped jobs and the game has even really begun yet.

ppl play differently, allow a choice for more leves , it doesnt mean everyone will do them.
those that love to party will still do so, those that love leves will do them, and those that prefer grinding will continue.
no harm in increasing amt alotted nor decreasing reset.

dungeons will soon be on the way as well. excellent, more choices to what ppl can choose is always a good thing. should never limit one playstyle over another , thats just selfish.

I'd also like to see the same leves offered in each area to be the same each reset. Having to pick and choose which you can leve link is really rather annoying.

I dont personally agree, the only thing people seem to do now is levequests, go do something else, I prefered the old 48 hours, but that is just me

I would like to see r50 leves at least. :) I struggled with raptors once I got to around r43-44 ;#;

I agree with this. However I think they should split the Battle Leve and Gathering Leve groupings up. 8 Leves for each for a total of 24 leves every 48 hours.

Absolutely not. Guildleves and Behest are already the two main ways people rank up. Allowing people to select more and shortening the issue time would make many people who wish to rank up DoW/DoM jobs do leves and leves only. They should, in my opinion, be working on adding more variety for people to rank up instead of furthering the main way people do it now.

And then there's the effect of everyone getting so much more SP. It's already easy enough to get, if they were to implement the changes suggested in this thread, it'd be even easier to hit r50.

Please! No more repetitive guildleves!

I dont understand this. the rank 40 ones are perfectly fine until rank 50 just increase the stars.

I don't think it would ruin anything if you were able to select all available leves from all the camps, just as long as they get rid of the ability to abandon just to do them over again.

This way, you can actually spend more time with different classes than just one or two at a time.
