Why Elysian?


Elysian is a long standing guild that formed as a pre-release guild, 2 years prior, to World of Warcraft's launch date. Since this time, Elysian has stayed strong for a decade and has been looking for a new MMO to dedicate itself for the past year. Currently slated for ESO, and Arche Age, we have since turned our attention to starting anew in Final Fantasy XIV. Internally, we are still accessing how many of our current members wish to play FFXIV, in the anticipation we may not have everyone join, we are now opening recruitment for FFXIV: ARR.


Elysian leadership style can be unique among other guilds you have been apart of - namely, we lead as a 3 man/woman council, where each of the 3 GMs are equal in power and decision making. This has proven to be most effective in leadership burn out and vetting all major decisions.


Elysian has a history of melding the world of "hardcore" gaming into a casual environment where each member gets what they desire from the game without feeling like they have a 2nd job. Most of our members consider themselves veteran raiders, who are past their days of raiding every night.

Who are we?


Elysian is filled with ex-7 night a week raiders, who are looking for concise and intelligent raiding, without having to dedicate their lives to raiding, pvp, or the game itself. Elysian is a great guild for those looking to beat content with intelligent leadership and a dedicated and veteran membership.


What we are looking for?


We are currently looking for veteran MMO players who are looking to start fresh in FFXIV: ARR. We are not a legacy Free Company/Linkshell, so we will be starting over with everyone else on a non-legacy server.

Class Need:

Tanks: low
Healing: High White Mage
Damage Dealer: High Black Mage or Summoner. (Med: Dragoon)


We are seeking recruits that...

1. Are 18 years or older (some exceptions may apply)
2. That generally raid from 9 PM to Midnight CST, Monday through Thursday
3. Willing to follow, agree, and obviously understand our Guild Charter as a member and recruit
4. Are active on a weekly basis
5. As a raider, have extremely high attendance to all events and willing to be on time and study upcoming content
6. Provide Zero Drama
7. Have effective communication, including using our TeamSpeak server and have a microphone
8. Don't have an issue filling out an application and having a small interview via TeamSpeak
9. A desire to have fun and get what they want out of the game

What time zone?


Elysian will primarily be having events friendly to the MST and CST North American time zones. That being said, we have current members from all over the globe, such Australia and so on.

Things have been going relatively well, considering all the login issues that have been plaguing everyone. We have many members max level in their main jobs and have Ifrit hard mode and the level 50 dungeons under our belts. If you're looking for a FC whose interested in all the end game content, but at our own pace rather than trying to race for it, then you should check us out!

Just an update, we'd like some more of those White Mage guys! Garuda HM is down, Titan should follow shortly. Several of us just need titan for our relic weapons now. Just a bunch of veteran gamers taking things at our own pace. If that sounds like your thing feel free to check us out!

You guys looking for monks?

We're pretty good on Melee DPS at the moment, however outstanding applications are ALWAYS considered.

Right now we're looking for a good Bard who doesn't have a godawful singing voice.

We have three full groups progressing in Coil right now, all working on Turn 4. (One is very close to getting it down, the other two just started on it.) We have a strong raiding force and are pumped for Patch 2.1. Please apply if you feel we'd be a good fit for YOU.

Coil progress is going well for all three groups, one is past turn 4 and the others have it within their reach.

Looking for geared SCH/WHM to fill gap Coil group to bump heads with Twintania

I currently play a WHM as my main and am lvling a BLK mage, my gear is part DL and AK gear and i only need titan to finish my relic, i haven't been playing seriously due to not having a good FC to raid with and also due to my work schedule i have pretty odd hours ( 3 day shifts 3 night shifts, 6 days off) iv been a raider on WoW for over 5 years and rift since release and always played a healing class, not bragging but I'm a well rounded player, just finding a home is hard due to previous referred issues. Basically even if its a floating position as a filler i can be dedicated just finding a FC to accommodate me is tuff. If interested id be happy to come on and when I'm up to par fill in where needed, i do research and once an attempt or two are under my belt i can do the dance as well as the best of them. In game characters name is Unknown Hero. Appreciate u guys taking the time to respond if u do so and any consideration.
