Hey,
I was wondering after you beat the main scenario quests..is there plans to add more story line to the game after new expansions come out and updates? Or is it going to be like WoW, where they just add new areas, dungeons and such?

more movie sequences? I'm sure they will, especially if each expansion has some storyline to go along with it.(which i mean it's a final fantasy game, if there's one thing you can expect it's story)
and jut a guess too, but i'm sure as they update the game more, more cut scenes will have voice overs added. -

It is a final fantasy after all. the story's not over yet. Most likely, they'll take 11's path and have an entirely new storyline for every expansion, and beyond eorzea opened up as part of that.

The game was released yesterday, it's a bit soon to be asking about expansions surely...?
But it's a pretty safe bet that there will be more to the story with CS's & voiceovers, some might come in patches instead of expansions as they did in 1.0 -

Well, if you played XI at all, you would know what the xpacs where like. They always added a new story line that related to the main story, however it had it's own purpose.

they have already announced that they were planning on adding all the jobs from Final Fantasy Tactics. So yes expect expansions but i wouldnt expect them soon.

Keep in mind - All of these "expansions" will be included under the subscription. Meaning they will be coming via patches, this includes everything listed above + future Class/Jobs. -

Let me put it this way: it's a Final Fantasy game. Story is a major component. Any expansion that didn't include a LOT of story would make me seriously question the development team. From what I've seen so far, I have absolutely no doubts that every expansion will come with MASSIVE amounts of additional story. In fact, that's what I'm most looking forward to in the future.
