PGL/MNK Positioning Requirements and Visual Noise

Was running some FATEs and one of them was against a Hyur sized boss. There were about 15-20 people there firing spells and abilities on the same target.. the result was that the small facing arrow underneath the boss was completely covered in fireworks, and it became impossible to tell which side I was attacking.

Would it please be possible to give us an UI option to drastically increase the size and/or visibility of the positioning arrow underneath your target? At the very least the positioning arrow should always be visible through spell effects.

Especially with THMs/BLMs in the group it's often very hard to tell which side you are attacking, as their spells have huge visual effects.

Otherwise, thanks for an awesome game. :D

yeah, they really need to tone down the effects that shoot out of your character when you do a combo, it's way too much and at times i can't even see what my character is actually doing with it's weapon over all the flash.

Hand holding much? Seriously why does everybody asks for things to become easier ? How about we get some variation on all those monk to be guys? The ones who can actually tell their position no matter the situation will stand out amongst the 1238714832 monks we will have soon.

Turn off the effects.

The boss is the super nova in the middle, which side is it facing?

Yeah this is an annoying thing. HOWEVER.

FATEs are not so important that you need to be doing 100% dmg. Being unable to get a few extra points of damage isn't crucial.

Here is an idea though;

Turn your toon 1 step over and use the "behind the back" move. Keep using it as you rotate around the monster until you see the bonus damage apply.

NNE on the SS (almost straight up) but I know what you meant <.> it's not THAT simple locating a single tank in the midst of insanity of that magnitude

actually, if you notice your target bar at the top of the screen shows who it is attacking. so, all you need to do is click on that name (to the right) and get on the opposite side of the mob ^^

You can go into your character options and turn off battle effects for everyone but you and your party members.

Turn the effects off for people outside of your party or even for your party as well.

If there are that many people in the fate that this is an issue then the mob is going down quickly regardless of your bonus damage. I've taken part in over a hundred Fates in the last couple of days and when there were a lot of combatants none lasted more than a minute, most nearer half that.

Where is this option because I don't see it in the System configuration menu. All I see is an option to turn of Movement physics which is not the same is spell effects.
