The grand companies feature was implemented in this patch right? Did they not include that in the patch notes..? Or has it not been stated where the Grand companies are located?

To be fair, the public companies are in the notes in the form as:
[dev1002][dev1003] New sidequests have been added.
If you look for these tags:
[dev1002] Storylines and world quests
[dev1003] Public company quests
So there should be sidequests for them. BUT there's another tag that specificaly says:
[dev1034] Introduction of public companies
So i dont know what to think anymore XD -

And people around the forums have stated they have started some of the grand company quests. I just assumed they would have released more info on it. Since it was such a big deal in the first place lol -

Grand Companies are not in this patch btw. The side-quests related to them are basically just preludes to the creation of the new Grand Companies. Almost a call to arms of sorts.

Did all the Company related side-quests (I think...). You get 3 Unique/Untradable potions (Dusken Draught, Kiss of the Morning Meadow, Onyx Tear) and the satisfaction of knowing you basically set the ball in motion.
