Am I expected to have a psychic link with the servers and just KNOW when there is an opening?

Okay, then can we please have an actual queue. 700 in line.. no problem, I will go watch some TV, read a book, do dishes.... instead I am sitting here... playing the gamer version of "Can you hear me now?"

All of this while folks go afk for HOURS on end just to avoid logging off, causing most of this congestion to begin with.

Being in game and playing should require more of my time than just logging in.. Logging in should take little to no time. I log on, I choose character, I take my place in line.... I check my screen occasionally to see if I am in while going about my day.

Lack of an AFK system, actual queue and failure to populate the realm list after 5 attempts to log in are technical problems, if not flat design failures.

It's a great game when I can get in, but the frustrations involved in the inability to log in, and the LACK of any type of customer support, service or anything but poorly translated badly worded vague news items, that get updated.... but not with new information, just a new time stamp on a copy paste of the old information. Pretty much tell me, "Thanks for your purchase of the game, and your efforts in Beta and the pre-launch. Your continued support is not required. Have a great day."

I like this game, I enjoy it, I'd really like to play it.....

While I understand your frustration. There have been multiple threads about this.......

Yeah I don't know wtf happened to the queue.

There is a queue system, and yesterday it only queued when it felt like it.
After like 5 attempts it finally put me 19th in line in a queue and let me log in.

I think they messed up something with the queue system (as it's something they recently added)

Have there been any answers, any technical replies? Bearing in mind I am not complaining about the staggering of log ins, merely the lack of customer support info, replies, solutions and response.

I have asked for a reliable queue...
I have asked for current and informative news items.
I have asked for an AFK system to be implemented.

Aside from the news request, none of these are easy or quick fixes, BUT, none of them are hard to reply to, even with a simple. "We have no interest in adding that type of system to the game at this time."

If they would even give an actual response to one of these issues, I would be happy. I still wouldn't be playing, but at least we would know these are being read by people who matter. Not just angry gamers and fan boys.

I have read very few posts that are not simply complaints, but after 4 hours reading posts, I have not read a single mirror image of my post, nor my complete suggestion list. Therefore, unless you have read my post twice, there is not even one single other thread about the exact same things I have brought up, nor is there one worded exactly as mine was worded.

However, I do thank you for allowing me the opportunity to expand on my frustration in the form of a reply.

After about a half hour of spamming login I finally get put into a queue of 22 people, great right? nope, just ended up getting a world is full error right as it's my turn... i don't understand why this is so complicated

Thats just it lots of threads yet no mod no nothing.. nothing. They say nothing to all those that just bought the game and can't play. No new servers like other new mmos would do. They know you cant get you money back now so.

Honestly, it's day one of launch, and there's only ONE new server for character creation, they should've made waaaaaay more servers than they have

Maybe not a "mirror image" but there are still plenty of threads about the 1017 issue and I don't think making another one will make the devs respond any faster. As I said before, I understand it's frustrating as I cannot play either because Hyperion is full.

I'm on my phone so can't get the link right but in a recent post was said they are -hoping- to remove the server cap next week

thats great for next week, but im already 3 days behind my friends, and a week from now cuts out a good chunk of the free month, 14 days, what have you. not something that should be going on. Ive been through the worst of the worst launches. I went through Luclin launch in EverQuest back in 2001, and while this isnt nearly as bad, at least SOE didnt lock out people from playing entirely because people were taking up space AFK.

It's true, I've been through some good launches (WAR) and some GREAT Launches (Conan.... game was awful but he launch was painless.) and some bad launches (LOTRO, DDO) In none of those launches was I unable to log on for entire days while the servers were up and running.

There is one other launch I did that was possibly this bad... that locked me out while the world was up and my friends were on... that frustrated me so horribly that I did indeed stop paying for a game I truly enjoyed. FFXIV's first launch.

In the end, it doesn't matter what you do right, what improvements you have made, or how great the story is. If your player base cannot play, they will not pay. None of what is right with this game, is worth anything, if you cannot log on and experience it.

Has anyone seen any official statements from SE about the 1017 server full issue? I assuming they have just kept quiet but, it would be awesome to have some idea when relief might come.

I agree about losing the free days of play. Sucks. I was locked out with the 3102 error during Phase 4 only after 2 1/2 hours of play....I am WAY behind my friends now. Oh well...

Only a week to play this, and then it's back to school for me. Can't say I'm very happy that I can't even play while I have time off because of an issue that really should've been fixed in beta..

i dont get why it puts me in a fricking que and kicks me telling me the worlds full, argh ive have this 10 times in a row now; cant even rage and say i'm getting a refund just screwed and that dikhead saying yoshi p already has 400 000 subs hope he gets disconnected lol

I am pissed off now myself..pathetic..
