New Behest Schedule

As for Behest the start of a current time interval will be changed to every 30 minutes. For more information, please visit the patch notes will be released tomorrow morning.

I haven't done alot of behest myself. The one hour wait period is a long time for players that want to take advantage of it. A current behest takes about 15 - 20 minutes. I am glad to see this. I can now goto an area with the purpose of doing behest's without a long wait for a new one to start. Thank you for the information.

It only seemed logical that they limit the parties to half their size, and reduce the behest time by half too.

Personally, I didn't have to wait a lot for behests. I usually grabbed some leves and did them until a behest would start. But I see this as a good thing :) And maybe with the grand companies, we'll see behests start spreading through all the regions

Given the size reduction to max party size for behests I figured they'd lower the time. Hopefully we'll see La noscea and the black hell hole behests actually see some use with the new party size cap. SE did mention an increased difficulty to behests as well, which also has me really interested. Good find with the info man!

I think they should have changed it to 15 minutes instead, that way the party will be out on a behest while the new behest starts, ensuring a completely new group would be able to go on a behest. If it is 30 minutes, then they will be done before then and can just sign up again, blocking the new group from entering.

I like this idea but from what I have experienced so far there is not many people actually doing behests. Most of the time I see 1 - 5 players doing behest. There are times when it's more and maybe it's just the time I play the game. If more players start doing behests maybe they will make it 15 instead.

Oh you haven't seen camp broken water yet lol. There are 6 full groups there the time I play at.

There was a time when Nophica Wells was always full as well. Now, sometimes quite a few people join, sometimes not...just depends if a leve group or two are running around.

I agree Reika some camps do get a little busy and some people will not get in...therefore people will be waiting at the camp for nothing.

Maybe some of the other camps will open up a little if others are overcrowded, but i can imagine there will be some chaos, have to be fastest finger first to hit the warden lol.

A lot of times being fast doesn't matter because it says "unable to load" when you're too fast, really annoying

Ive never had that problem but i could see it becoming annoying if it did.

There are plenty of camps to choose from so it really doesn't matter. O_o Especially when/if they open Coerthas and Mor Dhona Behests.

Time for people to learn to spread out if they wanna get into behests

This is ideal for those who do Behest religiously. Due to the party size being cut in half, behests will undoubtedly get full every single time, and there'll be people getting hung out to dry.

This cycle reduction helps alleviate that problem significantly. Now, only if Yoshi-P would add behests for the R45+ folks in Coerthas! :3

If not this then it would be nice if they could program in some restrictions like being unable to run two concurrent behests at the same camp.

That's the issue: the new method probably won't alleviate the problem it will more than likely contribute to it.

.......unless of course the 8-man behest can't possibly finish in the 30 minute period, thus ensuring that the next cycle will begin while people are still wrapping up the cycle before. Then my argument is likely moot ;)

I can see the issues with that too. As much as I'd hate to start pinning on restrictions for people, I had an idea about flagging the character with a 1 Behest/hr limit. Think about how Fields of Valor works (I know they're removing portions of the limits soon, but not all of it), you can only take one page an hour and get rewards. Do it like that, and keep the Behest reset at every 30 min so enough people are still able to go around for the later in the hour start.

what is max number of people for behest atm? would this mean a split of 2 parties for behest? im not sure how overcrowding would be sorted , will this mean less chance to do behest or more chance?
For me atm its one of things i like doing most in game atm.

They are also increasing the difficulty I think so that might just happen
