1.0 Clarification

I am just trying to get some clarification since there is a ton of information floating around.

I am a 1.0 member (non-legacy), and I registered my original 1.0 code back in 2012.

My question is do I need another registration code of any kind, or do I just set up a subscription when the welcome campaign ends?

I've tried to find some info about this on other forums and website, but I can't seem to find a straight answer so far.

I'm the same boat. How do I set up a subscription. People are saying just log on but I tried and it sends me to the mog station.

Spouse is 1.0 non legacy, it automatically converted to 2.0 with him doing nothing. In the mog station shows 15 days free time (the shorter free trial existing accounts get).

There is a button on that page somewhere that says add subscription, its a bit messy, you can see your account details under 2 different links and they show slightly different options.

I know I don't need to re-buy it, I just wanted to make sure I didn't miss a registration code in the email I needed or anything. I used my college email back when 1.0 came out and I don't really use that email anymore.

I was 1.0 non-legacy, played in beta 3 and 4, and last night I was able to log in through the client and it remembered my beta character (I had long since deleted my 1.0 character). Mog Station shows me 2 FFXIV service accounts, 1 seems to be a remnant of my 1.0 account, and 2 has my beta character attached plus the ARR CE (which I didn't buy separately, I had CE back at the original release) and 15 days free playtime. I've not yet added a subscription through the Account Management page but am able to play.

My husband should have been in the exact same boat but his beta character was attached to the wrong service account, with his ARR CE plus free playtime showing with no characters. He also wasn't able to log in until today. We did everything the same way and neither of us purchased any ARR codes, yet he ended up having to remake his character.

So there was some weirdness with the beta characters, but no codes to enter and no need to re-purchase the game!

That is odd. I didn't get any of that and the mog station doesn't seem to acknowledge the fact that my SE service account has the original FFXIV registered back in 2010. =\

Lol I guess really I just want to get some clarification on if I will be required to enter another registration code seperate from the 1.0 code I entered back in 2012.

No, your 1.0 will automatically be a 2.0 without any codes.
